We have been using Feliway diffuser, and were looking for a less-expensive alternative. When I took the cap off, my hands were instantly covered in a very odorous liquid. I could not wash the smell off my hands. I plugged the unit in, and in two hours the whole household was complaining of the smell.I kind of like the smell, but there was way too much of it! We have a 4200 square foot house, and in two hours the smell was everywhere!Not recommended.

I am returning this item. It has an extremely strong smell! Reminds me of cheap 1970's men's cologne. I'm not sure why it has a smell, when Feliway and Comfort zone do not. This product is much cheaper than the competition, but spend the extra money and buy something else!

We have used Comfort zone for several years and this was a cheaper alternative. I'm not sure yet about how it works, but the smell is very strong. My kids say it smells like grandma's house, but its more of a baby powder smell. We can't decide yet if it's too much. Will post an update.

We have been using a more expensive brand of pheromone diffusers and needed a more budget friendly alternative. After one week we haven't noticed any difference (good or bad) in our four cats behaviors.We take that as a good sign. All four of our cats get along fairly well, but they occasionally have there moments when one decides to be a bully. Without any help from the pheromones disagreements were happening far too frequently.Lastly, we haven't noticed any over powering scent with these diffusers.

We tried these after using ComfortZone for over a year...and they seem to be working for our cats (who squabble and fight and sometimes spray). These are about 1/2 the price...and they see to work just as well. There is definitely a scent...but we think it smells fresh and clean...and actually like it.

The product came nicely packaged and showed no signs of damage. However, when I went to open the first bottle it was leaking all over my hands. It stinks!!! I thought it was just one bottle..I was wrong.. all 3 have leaked. And they were delivered on June 30 and I just had to install the 3rd bottle today July 17!! They run empty in a week! Not worth the money! I'm glad I'm only having to put these in my garage to stop my cat from marking, I wouldn't be able to stand the smell in my house, the garage is bad enough! Don't waste your money!

I cannot tell any difference between Zen Paws and the Popular Brand except price. This was my first time to buy Zen Paws but it won't be my last. Good Product!

88% of this product is a hydrocarbon. It smells like sugary GAS/Petrol. Sure the product calms the cats because it is SLOWLY filling the space with CO2. I came home to find all of my cats ranging from 11 to 2 glassy eyed and shallow breathing. My husband and I both got headaches when we use them.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!! IT IS KILLING YOUR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS. Zen ....a lie. Poison would be more accurate.

Cheaper than the feliway product and this Zenpaws seems to do the trick - ,my two boys quite fussy with these pheramone products.

It smells quite nice. After a few days I got used to it. My cat seems more relaxed then with Feliway. So far , so good , will buy it again.

Smelly as in more floral than woody which I personally disliked but the ingredients keep the cats from marking and fighting which makes up for the smell.

Regrettably couldn't leave this product on long enough to truly determine whether it works - it has one of the most unpleasant, pungent smells that permeates right through your house. Pew!
