Every time I open the canister I get that nice coffee bean smell.The canister comes with a 1/8 cup scooper they you can store with the canister. I appreciate they have a holder for it. Inside the canister has etching to tell you the volume up to 20oz line. It can hold more but no indicators beyond 20oz.On top of the lid you have a month and day indicator. At first I thought I didn’t care but it was nice to have because when you throw away the bag you can transfer the date here.The seal on this I would say is good since I smell the beans each time I pop it open. Underneath the month dial is a one way valve. I guess it does something but I’m more concerned about the replacement part. It says you should replace it every 6 moths. They provide you with 6 valves and when I looked it up there are limited number of replacement valves. Know before buy.Overall good purchase and it’s nice they provided 3 years of valves.

I’ve been storing my coffee in the bag we get when we purchase the beans. It’s been a bit messy. I decided to find something to keep our coffee in that would have the breather valve like you have on the baggies. I stumbled on this canister and it fit the bill. It’s relatively inexpensive, made of stainless steel, and has a breather valve! Bonus for the measuring cup AND the feature that holds it!A few annoyances though… it comes with extra breather valves for replacement. However, there’s no convenient location to store them! I had to throw them into my kitchen cabinet and hope to remember them in the future.Tip – read the instructions before you use it. The breather valve shouldn’t get wet. Don’t go washing the thing before removing (pushing out) the breather valve. I’ve uploaded a pic of the instructions for reference.

My wife is the coffee drinker in the house. I tend to run the coffee grinder for her, she does not like the amount of noise the grinder makes. With this canister I can grind up several weeks worth of coffee beans for her in one go, and she tells me the coffee does not change in flavor. I like the one way valve in the top, it keeps the coffee dust down. The day/week clicker on top is also good for letting her know when I have ground up a fresh batch for her. I would recommend this canister to anyone who likes freshly ground coffee, but dislikes breaking out the grinder every few days.

This serves its purpose well and keeps coffee fresh, but the scoop holder on the side is a bit clumsy. It hangs up and catches on the side everytime I pull up on it, so I have to either use both hands to pull it, or leave it out. It looks like a good idea, and I can use it that way if I remove the rubber insert from the scoop handle so it slides out smooth. But, I like the rubber part so I just leave the scoop inside the jar.

This canister is unparalleled in keeping coffee fresh for sure. It did not come with a manual or a user guide so I have no idea how to use the tracker on the lid or when to replace the filters. That aspect seems unnecessary so I don't use them. I would buy others of these if I had more than one flavor of coffee being used at a time. I love the dark graphite color and the scoop is the perfect size for measuring into a reusable k-cup filter for a single serving.

I just started using the coffee canister. It feels sturdy. I like it coming with a scoop so I don't need to look for one every time. The date tracker is very handy, but the manual book doesn't explain how to set it up. As a first time user, I have to figure it out by myself, that's why one star off.

I like the container being airtight and the co2 valve that keeps coffee fresh. It is stainless steel and looks great as well as a coffee scoop and place to hang it on back. I love my coffee every day and this is extremely handy. It also has a date tracker for how old your coffee that is placed inside. It is 22 ounce capacity and seals very tight. The co2 valve really works and there are replacements that come with it. I highly recommend this coffee canister.

It seems to do the job it’s supposed to. Hold coffee. I didn’t come with instructions to show how to use it. I don’t know if it was an error. There is a set of numbers on the top in a circle tab. It’s pretty sturdy comes with a nice spoon. It’s a decent product.
