King size - medium 7-10 tog- non washable purchased. Duvet arrives in its own calico bag which is nice to store it in. I can honestly say I couldn’t detect any smell with the duvet. It’s thinner & not lumpy like a down duvet. Very easy to put inside the duvet cover as it has substance about it and stays square and flat, so it looks neat. It lies across the body, nice and light and airy with a comforting weight, & doesn’t smother and suffocate you like a down duvet does- especially if you’re a hot sleeper. The temperature control is just astounding- I haven’t woken up once damp or sweating as I did with both a 4 tog and 10 tog down duvet. My husband, who sleeps normally, likes it but agrees about the ‘drape’ (he’d sleep like a mummy if he could). Altogether it’s a lovely product at a great price that I have been recommending to friends. I now look forward to bed every night!

This is a quality duvet. When it arrives it does smell a bit like a farm yard. I aired it on the washing line which got rid of most of the smell and, after using it for a couple of nights, the smell had more or less gone. Surprisingly, the smell isn’t that bad anyway and it reinforces the naturalness of the product.The duvet itself is a nice weight. It’s not really light like a polyester filled duvet and rests on your body comfortably. You don’t need to shake it to redistribute the filling like a feather and down duvet as the wool stays in place within the cover. The best bit about the duvet is the heat control. I’ve slept under it on both mild and cold nights and the temperature has felt perfect. Not too hot nor too cold. This is a fantastic duvet and I don’t think I’d consider anything other than wool again.

A friend recommended and I wasn't disappointed! Keeps me at just the right temperature, but with a nice weight and cosiness. I was so worried about other reviews talking about the smell but just gave it an airing for a couple of days- I have a very sensitive nose- and it's absolutely fine! Like they say just a nice fresh smell not that plasticy smell you sometimes get with polyester.Basically I love it!!

Other reviewers have mentioned that this item smells and yes, it does, a little, but then it is a 100% natural product and not manmade. I just aired it for 24 hours before use and now there is no discernible smell.I was having problems over heating during the night. Not really night sweats just getting too hot and uncomfortable, my duvet was thick and heavy and I often felt almost trapped under its weight.But this duvet has solved all my problems; it's very lightweight and freeing. It's been very hot and humid recently but I have stayed cool and comfortable under this duvet and altho I haven't used it through a winter and although it is quite thin (which I love) there have been a few quite chilly nights that this duvet coped with VERY well and kept me comfortably warm. I live in a heated, well-built house, not in a shack near the North pole so it's never really that cold inside at night and I don't like being too hot at night even in mid winter and I think this duvet will be perfect.I haven't rated it very high for 'Softness' simply because it's not a big, thick, fluffy down duvet, if that's what you want give this a miss but if you want to stay cool in summer and warm (not hot) in winter then this, or maybe the thick or full version might be the thing for you but for me the medium is just perfect.

We have been sleeping much better with this duvet, normally my partner or I would wake multiple times during the night. We've moved from a 4.5 tog hollow fibre and found we were getting cold. This duvet keeps you cool and warm when needed.The only couple of negatives I have is that the duvet does smell a bit like a farmyard, but airing it outside will help or worse case, getting it dry cleaned. I've only tried 1 of my double double covers so far, and the duvet does seem a little large for it.UPDATE: Weeks later, and it still smells like a farmyard! So I resorted to washing it on a cold wash with wool shampoo. Dried it thoroughly on the line. Then dry cleaned it in my tumble dryer with a dry cleaning sheet.RESULT: it still stinks! So I dowsed it in perfume, and now it smells ok-ish. I have come to the conclusion that I'm just really sensitive to the smell, my partner couldn't even smell it when we first took it out of the bag and out it on the bed!!I would probably not buy another wool duvet, this has put me off. It's a shame as I love that it's natural, and it is very well made.

I tried the fluffy kind of wool duvet first (from another company) and it was massive and heavy and way too hot (I returned it). It seems there are two kinds of wool duvets, one kind where the filling is more loose and fluffy and this kind where the filling is flatter (more like a felt) and the duvet is constructed like a padded quilt. I bought this to replace a cheap, synthetic 4.5 tog duvet. It has a reassuring weight and stays put around your neck and shoulders and doesn't slide around on top of you, meaning that you're less likely to get uncovered and suffer a stiff neck at night.It feels much wider/longer than a normal duvet, it fits the case, but I don't know why it feels like you have more duvet but I'm not complaining, this is great!It's super warm and cosy but you never get sweaty. I read comments about a smell, mine only smells a bit of lanolin, it's a natural smell, not offensive and we've had it on the bed a week now and the smell is barely detectable. I am so happy with this duvet. So happy I plan to buy a guest duvet just the same!

This is the third woolroom duvet we have bought and can’t recommend them enough. I have a medium which on the very hot nights was too hot so swooped to an ordinary 4 tog duvet it lasted three nights before I was looking up the price of the light wool duvet. The wool divers are miles better than ordinary ones. Not only do they keep you cool whilst still being lovely and warm they are wider than a normal duvet but still fit in the usual duvet cover. They drape really well and are really well made - don’t be put off by the made in Estonia or Lithuania labels they really are well made and fab quality and well worth the money. Would I go back to a poly/cotton duvet - no never ever.

Me ha encantado en general. De primeras el envío ha sido rapidísimo, ya el producto cuando lo he abierto me he llevado una grata sorpresa, muy bien embalado dentro de una funda de lino y con un aire muy cuidado. Lo primero que he hecho ha sido olerlo por las diversas reseñas que comentaban de esta peculiaridad y si, tiene un olor ovejil, no es para tanto y se soluciona sacándolo de la funda y aireándolo. No me parece una desventaja entendiendo que estas fibras naturales a veces tienen olor (natural claramente), y por lo demás un exterior característico de algodón blanco con cuerpo para mantener un poco la forma del edredón y muy buenos acabados de costuras. Calidad por el precio muy aconsejable 10/10.Cuando lo pruebe actualizo la reseña.

Bettdecke aus Wolle. Habe sie gekauft, da mein Mann schnell schwitzt. Das Problem ist mit der Decke jetzt behoben. Ideal als Sommerdecke und für den Übergang. Würde ich wiederkaufen.
