It Works!
I purchased this charger for an old JVC camera with home movies from my children’s childhood 8-10 years ago. Camera works perfectly but we couldn’t locate the charger. Ordered this one and was very happy it works great and charges the battery like the original.

Works as promised
Arrived as promised. Plugged in my battery and it charged it up. I lost my camera's charging/power cord. Now I can finally get the video of son's wedding off the camera. Thanks for an excellent transaction

Defective and dangerous
Within one hour of inserting a BN-VF808U battery and plugging it in, I heard a loud pop. I went to investigate and found a burning smell and the plastic melting. I'm glad that I decided to test this during the day and not overnight while we were sleeping or we might have had a fire.

Just works.
Charges battery fine. No comment on battery life, not really a function of the changer so much as the battery.
