New to doing gel nails at home so purchase this kit as a beginner. Very easy to use and the nails are very high quality. Each nail does have a number at the very tip so you know what size you are using. The fit is exceptional and well. I went with the shorter length. They were the perfect size. I use nail glue remover and these were fairly easy to remove. Would the length I chose? They were very functional yet very durable. And I really put them to the test! Once I primed them the paint adhered beautifully and they looked almost professional. But again I am a beginner so I am trying to hone in on my skills! Definitely would recommend. They are excellent quality! The nail lamp is not only adorable but it works amazingly well. For something small. It packs a great punch and cures the nail adhesive beautifully. Would definitely purchase again and would recommend to all my friends.

So after reading other reviews I was worried about getting this. I’m honestly glad I did! The glue was exactly how it was described. It’s very easy to use. Been doing my own nails for a couple of years now with dip powders and glue ons and this glue makes my nails feel so much more secure. The picture is the nails I used with the glue and it seriously kept them on. I’m a mom to a rough housing little boy that these nails survived being smacked, pulled, and twisted. There was no mold or anything in mine. It’s very thick and you get a good amount for the price. It never turned yellow it stayed a clear color. A little goes a long way. Definitely way easier than liquid glue. Always had a problem getting the traditional liquid glue all of my fingers and this glue doesn’t do that so that’s a big plus for me.

10/10 recommend i used to hate spending $60+ on acrylics but now i dont have to i did this whole set plus polish and all in 1hr and 30 mins. You need to make sure to cure it all the way or yes you will get contact dermatitis. I recommend using a bigger uv lamp to fully cure only thing i used the little lamp it came with for was to get the air bubbles out when i held it on. You only need to hold it on for 5 seconds under the little uv lamp they supply and then cure for 60 secs under the bigger uv lamp. They are very sturdy i can bang them off a table and they will not pop off. It was super easy to use. It doesn’t have a strong smell which is nice and it’s not super messy. Do not listen to all the negative reviews on it i was skeptical at first but it was for nothing if you follow the directions you’ll be fine.

This little set has almost everything you need to start doing your own gel nails! You’ll want to get a bigger curing lamp because the little lamp it comes with is just for flash curing (I already had one stored away from years ago that my sister gave me after she got bored of doing gel nails, but it’s smaller and only fits 4 fingers so I still have to do my thumbs separately which takes so much extra time. Would be great for travel but I do plan to order a big wireless one. Anyway get a bigger lamp. Beetles has a couple options on here and there are tons of other options). I’d also recommend getting an electric file, 100% acetone, rubbing alcohol and lint free pads or alcohol prep pads, a good manual file and buffer block, and the prep products you will need to complete your manicure. Beetles sells a 4 bottle set with dehydrator, primer, base coat, and top coat which I also bought.Also get some colored polish of your choice, and consider getting some little nail art brushes to at least help with cleaning up your cuticles and stuff.I don’t really do nail art but it’s good to have the brushes to clean up cuticle flooding or any gel that gets on the skin, as you don’t want to cure it on your skin! You can also use CLEAN small flat eye makeup brushes for this in a pinch, which is what I did initially.My only gripe with this set is the nail sizes. The nail’s themselves are very good quality, but the sizing didn’t really work easily for me. The biggest ones were too small for my thumbs so I had to glue them up higher so they’d hit both sidewalls which left me with a lot to trim off. There also isn’t a good size for my middle fingers; I either have to use a bigger one and try to file it down and it still looks bulky, or use the one that fits closer but that I have to glue higher up on my nail like the thumb and then trim. The second option gave me better, less wide/bulky nails and was less work but I did still have a ton of length to trim off. Otherwise the sizes were mostly okay but I will definitely be ordering some other nail tips. I don’t have particularly large hands or nails either. But these will probably be fine for a lot of people especially if their nails are on the small side.I got almond extra short and they’re still pretty long for my taste, the ones pictured have been trimmed and filed down considerably, so just be aware of that too. They are nowhere near as short as they look in the photos (I guess unless you have super long nail beds but mine are pretty average and not particularly short) so I suspect the other nails are also longer than they look in the product photos. Be prepared to cut and/or file. The almond is also quite pointy and sharp basically like a stiletto and will need to be rounded off which I have also done.However I’ve already been able to do a couple of sets with these while I get used to using gel and this kit has been great. I also used beetles colors (got a set of six mini bottles for under $10) and have left a review there as well and beetles prep dehydrator, primer, and base/top coats as well. All solid products!

I’ve been using the Beetles Mini UV Light for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. It’s super portable, so I can easily bring it with me when I travel or just use it on my desk at home. The smart sensor is a game-changer — no need to press any buttons, it just turns on automatically when I put my hand in.It cures my gel polish pretty quickly, especially when I apply thin layers. I do a couple of coats and it holds up great without any smudging or sticky residue. The only thing is, it’s a bit smaller and less powerful than some salon lamps, so if you have really thick gels or extensions, it might take a bit longer.Overall, it’s affordable, easy to use, and perfect for my at-home manicures. Definitely recommend if you want something simple and portable!

Retention is amazing! Im a waitress and bartender and haven't had any lifting or falling off. 3 stars because the viscosity is very loose and the heat spike was almost unbearable!

I love this so much. It’s a great value for your money and is super easy. I didn’t do it correctly the first time I attempted to do a “set”, but the second go around went a lot more smoothly. When I applied them correctly the nails were super sturdy and easy to paint with my Essie polish. They don’t easily pop off and I really like the shape. I have short and stubby fingers, so these for perfect for me. They fit comfortably and again SUPER EASY. Unless I need something really intricate done, I don’t feel like I’ll need to go to a salon again especially because I’m not great with getting fills on time
