Ranieri Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil , 16-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

We have been vacationing in Liguria for 30 years. As with every part of italy, the locals passionately believe they have the best olive oil in the country. In some respects, they really do. LIgurian olive oil is light, delicate and perfectly matched with "the Mediterranean Diet". They are many small artisanal producers, and many folks produce their own private stock. This is one of the best olive oils that you can find on this side of the Atlantic. We were once given a bottle as a gift from a friend who happens to be a Michelin starred chef.

Amazing olive oil. I have read about the fake "olive oil conspiracy" so I have been a bit more paranoid about my olive oil purchases lately. I always bought high quality olive oil, but I have found that this olive oil has such a lovely taste/smell to it that just doesn't compare to the olive oils that I can purchase at our local grocery stores. I tend to use this for recipes when I'm not cooking the olive oil, because I love the flavor so much. I also researched the company and I was convinced that they aren't fakers :)

I have been trying high quality Italian EVOO from famous regions in Italy and this one stands out in taste, texture and aroma. Great for dipping specially with fresh baked sourdough.

Do a tasting, it goes down smooth, like any OO but there is a peppery kick, WOW! So excellent on salads. Do not use this for cooking, savor it like a fine wine.

I had bought this brand a few years back in Portofino. Wonderful oil. I saw the brand on Amazon so I bought. This oil is very ordinary, nearly flavorless and a big disappointment. Costco's olive oil by the gallon is even much better. Will stick to EVO Sicilian oils.

I put this on my salad greens. Really brought out a nice sweet taste. Will buy again.

The flavor, consistency and color of this olive oil is really great -- one of the best we have ever had. We have had four bottles of this product so far and each one is just like the previous. Highly recommend!
