Works great on friends model 3
I recently purchase this hub for my friends 2020 Tesla model 3 and it works great! It gives it additional usb ports and has a storage area in it. For those who wants to have more than the two standard USB A port, this a good one to try. I really like how you can conceal the memory stick inside the “hidden” storage area. Make sure the model year is correct as they do change from two usb A to a USB A and C after a a certain year and model.

Looks built in
Fits like it was built in. Love the hidden usb compartment as it makes it easier to not accidentally unplug or have someone else unplug it for you. I needed extra charging ports, and this was perfect

Tight fit; works great
Just a hair too tight in there. Once I found the right approach angle, I got it to fit. The USB drive I had for it doesn't fit, though, so I had to replace a 5 TB drive with 256 GB for now. Most importantly, this solved my freezing music problems. I have an aftermarket Qi wireless charging tray so I only had one USB port available for the dashcam and music collection. I split one drive into two partitions but that didn't work very well. The music dropped out every 45 seconds for 8. This fixed that problem immediately and completely for less than $30. You can't beat that. Perfect for those times when I'm out of cellular range.

Pretty cool. Almost perfect. Missing USB port on back of hub.
This thing is pretty cool. It’s almost perfect. What it really needs and does not have is a USB port on the back of the device to accommodate plugging in a USB to power the wireless phone charging feature. I have installed the wireless phone charging mat in place of the stock one. This hub device requires that you run the cable from the charger over the top of this hub in order to plug it in and take up one of the USB ports on the hub. It would be excellent if there was a USB plug on the back so that it would be very clean and the wireless Matt could plug-in to the back and you wouldn’t have to see cables. The whole point of this hub for me was to clean up the look inside the consul, so having that wire running from the charger across the top and into the front defeats the purpose on some level.

Perfect fit for 2018 Tesla Model 3
I got this so I could install a phone wireless charger in my Tesla. I needed both USB ports and didn't have a spot for the USB drive for sentry mode in my glove box. This provided a spot for the storage drive and the spots needed for the wireless charging pad and room for more. Easy to install and you almost wouldn't know it was there unless I showed you.

Works perfect
Recently bought a Tesla Model 3 and didn't have enough USB ports up front. This fit perfectly and was exactly what I needed.

Incompatible with Sentry Mode
It looks fantastic, it installs well, it has plenty of USB ports, and the hidden compartment is great. I want to love it, unfortunately it is incompatible with Sentry Mode.If you have Sentry Mode configured to not record at certain locations (e.g. home, office) to preserve your car battery, then the car powers down. For whatever reason once this occurs then your USB SSD/Thumb drive plugged into this Hub does not mount again when the car powers back up. You have to physically unplug the drive from this Hub and plug it back in before the car will recognize it again and enable Sentry Mode. The day after I installed this thing, we went out to dinner and someone hit our door with theirs and put a huge dent in the door. Sentry Mode was inactive because we'd come from home, and I didn't thing to dig into the dashboard to unplug and replug the drive so we have video. Needless to say I'm pissed off.

So far good product
Was a prefect fit it was super snug getting in but i wouldn't want it to be easier or it wouldn't look as good as it does it looks so much better than oem 10/10 recommend I wi update if something happens it also comes with a magnet for a ssd so it sticks and doesn't move around which wasn't said in the listingVery nice
