I have just finished assembling my 5th piece of simplihome furniture. I have done them all by myself and I am a 75-year-old woman. Not to say that I am necessarily as strong and capable as I used to be, but I have still been able to accomplish everything. The furniture is correctly marked and correctly pre-drilled when needed. All the equipment has been there. The hardware, the doors, the drawers --everything has been exactly the way it should be. The directions are clear. The pictures are good with enlargements of specific areas when needed to show detail. There are times, though, when I change a bit of the order of the way things are assembled because it makes sense to me. The most impressive thing is that everything is actually wood. There is some plywood with veneer, but there is no particle board. The one occasion when I did have contact with customer service it was excellent and there was nothing the company had done wrong. I had just overlooked a piece but it was actually shipped to me. Nothing ever has arrived in a damaged condition. When assembly is finished, the piece of furniture is sturdy and attractive.

This was the first more complicated piece of furniture I have ever put together. I recommend reading each section twice before beginning those steps. Have your tools (Phillips screwdriver, etc.) at hand. It is a challenge to put together, but worth the effort. The four drawers came together surprisingly w/ ease, although I was completely unfamiliar w/ the some of the screws used. The cabinet is handsome and well designed.

A bit smaller than I expected. Measurements are accurate I just have no sense of measurements 🤣. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. All hardware was in separate bags and clearly labeled. I put the cabinet together by myself. It is square, doors are even… it’s great. It even matches my breakfast table.

The storage cabinet arrived within a couple of days by UPS. It was packaged very well so no damage occurred while shipping. Furniture is very sturdy and directions gave very easy details on how to assemble. Extra parts were also included if needed. Really pleased with the quality and appearance of this item.

Took 2-3 hours by myself to put it together, instructions were easy to follow. No problems, I’m 62 female. So anyone can put cabinet together , you do need a Phillips. It’s expensive looking, good quality. It smells good to me. Like a New cabinet should. 1 little light colored dot on the front on the dark wood , one dot touch with black marker. You can’t find it now . Very pleased with cabinet. You will be also if the size works for you.

First: the delivery box weighs over 85 pounds.Most parts are labeled, and labeled correctly, but some parts are not labeled at all.You will need screw drivers - a Phillips and a Flat Head. A drill might also be useful.Time to assemble varies, but could take up to several hours.Some parts are not drilled to accommodate connecting screws.It requires considerable hand strength to tighten screws.You must be able to read a diagram--even if the diagram is not accurate.The wood may splinter if the hole for the screw is not accurately lined up between connecting parts.There is nothing "simple" about "Simplihome". I think Simplihome should pay customers an assembly fee.It is possible I will return this if the various parts do not at some point at least resemble the picture on the website.So far, after three hours of work and not yet near completion, it feels like a waste of money.

This cabinet is gorgeous, but it has its problems. The first one I got didn't have a pre-drilled hole on one of the doors for the pull. Second cabinet had big problems with the doors and them going on evenly. This was my worst nightmare. They need to make the door assembly easier somehow. Amazon is awesome and made it right, but what a disaster.

Very nice looking , sturdy piece of furniture, which I was looking for. Bought to set turntable on, looks really good on top, perfect height, the one side holds lp albums other side has 2 shelves, which u can use on either side of unit. Only thing was door magnets were put on bottom instead of top & we had to drill hole for one magnet, no biggy though. It looks rich & classy. If your thinking about it do it nice piece of furniture!

Size is very small compared to the pictures, finish is nice but storage space is not great. Overall looks good in kitchen, can be used to store smaller items like bowls, mugs, cups, and some other kitchen stuff. I use the top of the cabinet to keep a fruit basket
