With very simple modification this motor repaired my Ryobi 10-in cordless chainsaw. Works like new

I used it on a power tool and it works just great.

The motor seems to be working ok. It was almost a drop in replacement for a 10 in Ryobi chainsaw that had a burned up motor, just a minor modification like another reviewer said. The motor shaft could have been a millimeter shorter. The biggest issue was that they use a Sharpie or some other red marker to mark the positive side, and this appeared to be incorrect. When I first installed it, the motor was spinning the wrong direction. I had to pull it out and reverse it. Another "get what you pay for" is that the fan inside the motor is plastic, whereas the original it was replacing had a metal one. Overall though, it at least weighed the same. We'll see how long this lasts, but I would be surprised if it lasted as long as the original.

Was supposed to be a direct replacement for a motor that I had. I had to modify the housing that mounted to this motor and once I was finished with the modifications took the wires up only to find out the motor didn't even work. Do better China

I was looking for the right DC motor. This is perfect for my project...right size, right power, just right.

The part is not the correct size.I did not get back to this project in a timely manner and missed the return window.That’s my fault and I will not let it happen again.Be sure to check items upon arrival. Not always as projected in the description.
