I've never used gold leaf or foils before, so I wasn't expecting how easy these flakes ended up being to use. I wore gloves as I was afraid the flakes would stick to my fingers. Some of the flakes are folded/rolled and needed to be flattened out. Others were layered chunks that needed to be separated. I had no problems doing that and was surprised that I didnt tear them to shreds in the process. I used an old makeup brush to help press them onto my fabric which also worked better than I expected it would. Looking foward to using these flakes again.
