Scotchgard Leather Protector for Suede and Nubuck, 7-ounce - 2 Pack

I am finally at a place in life where I can afford some luxury! I have always cared for my vehicles as if they were my very own children. So when I upgraded from my 2010 Nissan Altima (which I'm giving to my 15 y.o. as her sweet 16 gift in a few months), to my Black Cadillac Escalade Premium with light tan leather and suede interior I KNEW with 4 young children and a husband, wear and tear would be unavoidable after a couple of years. To help preserve, I decided to scotch guard the seats, ceiling, and carpets from front to back. These two cans got me through the entire vehicle with the exception of the front driver seat floor and ceiling. That's ok with me! I will purchase more for the second coat and to complete the drivers side. The smell is VERY strong the first day so plan to do it in the evening so you can wake up the next day and use it without getting a headache. It smells like strong acetone. I've had my truck for roughly 3 months now and not a stain to be seen. It wipes clean with ease. I plan to do this once every season. You won't be disappointed.

Well worth my money compared to some other brands that are a joke. Had to try the orthostep suede and nubuck protector because I had just received a new pair of Minnetonka tall suede boot mocassins.Wanted to buy the scotchgard to begin with but they were out of stock at the time and I was itching to break the boots in right.The orthostep was about 9 bucks for a 5.5 oz can soooo....bad idea !!! Barely lightly coated one boot and can was bone dry. Couldn't even tell I sprayed anything. Total waste of time and money. Checked with Wal-Mart and the scotchgard was like 28.00 per 7 oz can wtf!! Ordered the 2 pack scotchgard suede protector as soon as it was back in stock at about 23.00 for 2-7oz cans. Got good wet even coverage on both boots 2 times with one 7 oz can so I've got another waiting in the wings for the next service. Great product. 5 stars!!!!!

Just bought a pair of staurt weitzman over knee suede boots, because it is grey color, I was worried what if I spill some coffee or it suddenly rain, then the lovely boots would be ruined, so I look up online and found this Scotchgard.Saw some reviews saying the spray could cause color change, but I couldn't notice the color difference at all before and after!!!! And I actually put on some water after I spray, the water droplets just slip away quickly, now I can wear my boots out and don't have to worry about weather!!! Amazing!!!I would suggest people to shake well before applying, and make sure to use continuous motion just as the instruction said, make sure the shoes are sprayed completely (which looks like completely wet), but don't worry, it dries quite fast, takes around an hour, and then you can apply another layer on top.I also repurchase 2 more cans to apply it in my others heels, works well even on pink and nude color as the picture shows, highly recommend!!!

Product works well as expected. Shoes are now very water resistant, water rolls right off. One can gave me two fairly heavy coats on 3 pairs of shoes (Suede Merrell Jungle Moc).Re the spray issue: when the nozzle is fully depressed it comes out as a narrow stream. Using less than full pressure (partially depressing the nozzle) produces a light mist (which is what is desired I think). This is not explained or documented anywhere. I suspect that this is intentional and that the stream is meant for use around seams and other areas where you might want heavier coverage.

Works great! I have 24 pair of Nubuck suede shoes to clean and waterproof. I have waterproofed 6 pair so far. I did 2 light coats as recommend on the can. Ran a little bit of water down the shoe and the water just beaded up and ran right off. Perfect for this wet, rainy Ohio weather. 1 can provided 2 light coats each on 4 pair of suede tennis shoes. Be sure to follow all the instructions and you will get the excellent results you come to expect from Scothgard.

Bought these for my Ugg boots and other suede shoes I have. After 2 reasonable doses, they repel water easily and are easier to brush off. If you have an investment in suede, this stuff is worth the price and effort. Also, I have treated 3 pairs of boots and still haven't gotten through one can. I always update with any issues.

I treated 2 pair of Uggs before using them. It’s been 3 months and my boots have been thru, mud, rain and snow and still look brand new. Love this product

I sprayed this on all my suede boots so they don’t get the salt stains. Recommended to keep the boots water resistant/proof!
