Infratech17-1015 Speed Ray 2 with Timer

I've used other models of heat lamps from this same company and I've had no issues in the past. Decided to give this one a try and I have no regrets. Does the job well and is definitely worth the investment. Save yourself the trouble and go with this brand. They are built sturdy compared to similar products on Amazon. Would buy another in the future if needed!!P.s. Be very careful with the bulb when removing from foam. The foam is wrapped around the bulb really tight and is not easy to get out. I used a razor blade to carefully slice the foam from other side of the opening to split it in 2. Worked like a charm. Definitely don't try to wiggle it out of the foam. You will end up breaking it like others seem to have done. Hope this helps.

BEST product investment I've made to my finishing room. This infrared lamp makes the drying and curing of painted cabinetry easy and quick. The unexpected bonus is that the quality of the finish when using the lamp has been much better than normal air drying. Lightweight, simply adjusted, and transportable. Highly recommended.

First one arrived with a broken lamp. Second one only lasted two weeks. Sent it back......

Havent been able to use. Bulb was broken right in the middle. The rest of it went together pretty good. Seemed like it would have worked for what i needed it for but now i cant find out till later.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect for my ceramic coating applications. Just wished they would make a better pole stand since it has little play cause of the gaps and isn't standing on a full 90 degrees. Besides that it speeds up curing times.

If you break the bulb, it is very expensive to replace, almost as much as the entire unit.Works great

We bought this to cure conversion varnish on cabinet doors. It is AWESOME! I wish I would have bought one 15 years ago.

Speeds curing times for coatings. Personally I use it for automotive ceramic coatings, but it works well for paint as well. The price is reasonable and I like the ability to disassemble the stand and store it relatively compactly.
