Every woodworker need this!
Fantastic product! If you, like me, hate to buy sandpaper that tear apart and which you have to use a lot of money on - this is an end to your trouble. The sanding block last for a very long time. I have used it for a year and it shows no sign of wear. It has a flat sole and has edges which are 90 degree. Every craftsman and hobbyist should have at least on of these among your tools. Start out with a 120 grit, it is very effective and versatile. Highly recommended product!

Expensive sander
I've used this sanding block a few times and it seems to work very well. Its a simple clever tool that works better than sandpaper. It is basically a metallic sanding surface mounting to a block of wood that is set at a 90 degree angle for straight edge sanding. It is great for sanding the edge of a board because it keeps the edge straight. I haven't had this long enough to check the durability but so far it seems to work like a very fine plane. It does seem to be expensive.
