While it's plastic it is relatively sturdy and easily installed, solved the issue I had in my shower!

We ensed up needing this because of how tall my husband is. He couldn’t fit under the shower head at our house before. This has given him the ability to stand him ally in the shower without having to remodel our entire bathroom. It was an easy install and we never lost any water pressure when we added it.

Moved into an apartment with a shower head that was about the height of my chin.. Really made taking a shower miserable..I'd seen these extensions before but thought it would be goofy. I was wrong. This was a good quality pipe, came with a beauty ring and the Teflon tape for the threads when I installed.. Super easyShowers are once again an enjoyable part of my day.

Not sure what happened, but a couple days ago it started spraying out water around the powerhead. I think the threads might be stripped or something. Or maybe it's the powerhead. Not sure, but it served its purpose well while it was working. Helped to elevate the showerhead in a tiny shower so that whoever was inside didn't hit their head on it. Was easy to install as well.

I did it! Works great. I had to get a 6” extension because who put a soap dish below the shower head?? Anyway this has a great curve and quality threads and chrome finish.

Needed a way to raise the shower head for my 6'5" son. This moved it up above his head perfectly. Been using it for over a year without issue.

This feels and looks like quality. I have not installed yet. It matches the other brushed nickel in the bathroom.
