Tried and Transfigured

Really enjoyed reading this book, especially all the poems, and parts of songs in it.

Leonard Ravenhill - Though not here, still teaching and inspiring today. Ravenhill had a Holy Ghost power like very very very few do today. I recently found the source of that which guided his understanding of the scriptures. Now, I understand that we are NOT called to be like another man but we are to learn from others who may help us or to guide us to be more like Christ. That said, in the very beginning of the book: It Is Finished: Finding Lasting Victory Over Sin, by David Wilkerson, Gary Wilkerson left a clue as to where Ravenhill gets his spiritual understanding. Moving forward months later reading the book: Valley of Vision, and other works by Puritans, I found it. Ravenhill was always pushing the importance of prayer because God always made prayer important if we were to have a relationship with Him.

I haven't finished reading this book yet but it like every other Leonard Ravenhill book I've read challenges you and helps you see things from a godly perspective. I promise you won't be sorry reading this book and the seller was great to. Shipping was timely and the book was as describe. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

If you want the truth, then read anything by Leonard Ravenhill. No punches bared. He hits you with the truth and doesn't mind if he grabs your attention. I like Leonard Ravenhill as much as I do A. W. Tozer - maybe even more!

Gave a deeper understanding of what on the surface seemed simple, I was truly blessed by this and this work caused me to search myself and gave a deeper understanding of what Jesus went through internally

Good for the time in which it was written!

I buy Leonard Ravenhill books for my Pastor. They are perfect gifts for a man of God!! Would suggest to anyone who likes a good book
