Unoriginal but decent with one interesting difference.
Everything here is a spoiler; the movie wasn't bad so I would recommend at least one watch and not reading this if you plan to see it.The effects are o.k. the northern setting is almost cozy and CGI monsters are not too overdone or clumsily fitted. The story is identical to The Faculty if you are familiar with that but there is one difference. In the end, you are meant to be sympathetic to the invading hosts too. Not too sympathetic they are serial killers and chose a stealth invasion rather than a diplomatic approach. However what would you do if you were living on a dying planet and had the ability to invade another? Given that your race is diminished a diplomatic effort would likely fail because eventually the humans would learn your technology and destroy your race as the not only outnumber you they are a growing population while yours is in decline. History has shown that by and large you need a strong military and economy to get your way and such a race as these ice things from Orion do not. Any diplomatic effort based on honesty would probably fail as governments aren't given to altruism no matter what they may say. So a stealth invasion is probably the only way to go in such a situation. I'm not sure why the arc of having him be the lone guy that knows the truth into a rabid alien killer was handled so crudely. Did the writers really think that was a sympathetic character that they would feel is true or were they trying to make a point? Having the scene where she explains her motives and then attempts to breed in a rather delicate scene was tromped all over when he bludgeons his way into their party and incinerates two of their members even as one is sincerely begging for her life. The context there is they are a desperate race doing desperate things and he enraged is their exterminator. Kinda hard to pick sides on this one. In the end though and it didn't matter at all given his final arc making the movie kinda pointless to watch especially as the secret stealth monster was as cold and calculating as he was hot and deranged. As for his arc it was obvious that he was going to be slain by the stealth queen in the end, it has come up time and time again that the likable female sidekick is the secret bug alien monster or whatever so I had guessed that she was going to kill him just before the computer video scene and when it didn't work out for no apparent reason I knew then it was her. Rather a lot like the faculty and so many other movies; who would have guessed? So compared the background noise of the dregs of horror movies found on the bottom shelf this movie stands out making it worth watching once but against the titles available on dedicated horror channels it falls pretty low. So if you can and do pay for those services your time will probably be spent on there rather than this one.

Not bad, not great, I liked it.
Decoys (2004), a Canadian-American science fiction horror movie, filmed in Ottawa, Ontario and set in at St. John’s College in New Brunswick. In a nutshell, several sorority women are aliens from outer space killing the male students at the college. More horror than science fiction, the movie is about two friends and roommates, Luke Callahan (Corey Sevier) and Roger (Elias Toufexis), as well as their two friends, DJ Gibby (played by Ennis Esmer) and Luke’s female-friend-who-is-obviously-in-love-with-him companion Alex (Meghan Ory) who come across a plot of several sorority woman to do Bad Things to oblivious, foolish men willing to go off alone with aliens who look like extremely attractive women. Spoilers I guess, but at least three of the sorority members - Natasha (Carrie Colak), Lily Benson (Stevanie von Pfetten), and Constance Snowden (Kim Poirier) – though they look like normal women, are alien invaders. Not bad, not great. It is kind of all over the place in tone. Sometimes it feels like 1980s campus sex comedy, at other times horror movie parody, at other times nope straight up horror or towards the end, action-thriller. Some of the cast did a good job (I think Alex was probably the best acted character) and others, wow, were kind of over the top, most notably Detective Francis Kirk (played by Richard Burgi) who was channeling Detective Stabler from Law & Order: SVU but cranked up to 11. Tone it down buddy. Yes, you are investigating murders but you are also a small-town cop. The other cop in the movie is Detective Amanda Watts (played by Nicole Eggert) who used to date Luke? I guess? I feel like I missed a scene. She seemed more reasonable and relatable than Pseudo Stabler until the end when she felt like she was from a bad 80s action film. The aliens are in part CGI – early 2000s CGI – but for all that not too bad. Points for making them a bit more complex than I thought they would be and not clear-cut evil (though still very much a threat). Some nice, mild humor in the film. Not as risqué as it could have been (it was partially funded by the SciFi Channel so there is that). I understand it has a 2007 sequel though I think none of the cast returns (understandable for several of them). I have certainly seen much worse.

Rating for movie, not product keep reading
Although the movie is um a very campy cheesy borderline rip off of Species it was an okay way to kill about an hour and a half. It shipped quickly and was as described so A+ there. The movie itself...I mean it's beyond words ridiculous but I have seen worse (hello Sharknado) and for Meghan Ory so worth it.

It ain't Citizen Kane
Reminds me of your typical horror film that would be VOD via your cable TV provider back in the 00's. It's not original but it's still entertaining and decent enough for a watch. Better than most horror films on Prime, the production value is decent for what it is, at least it doesn't have that shot on "Shiddio" vibe to it like a lot of other "never heard of it" horror films on here. Good for a free stream but I certainly wouldn't recommend it as a paid rental or anything. I would give it 3 stars but I'm giving it 4 stars because almost all 3 star rated horror films are quick buck garbage films with inflated ratings from their production teams.

An Average Teen Movie
The story line is close to "The Faculty" but with only the students, well, a dumb down version of it. Limited budget, limited acting skills and limited direction. Not many people involved here went on to greatness after, with perhaps the slim exception of the Special Effects techs.

Come da descrizione
Secondo me i film possono piacere o meno. Appassionare o deludere quindi non lascerò mai una recensione per quanto concerne il contenuto. Per quanto riguarda la transizione invece dico solo 5 stelle. Prezzo ottimo, prodotto come da descrizione, non credo serva aggiungere altro. :)
