Fiskars Squeeze Sharpener for Kids 5+ - Crayon and Pencil Sharpener - Back to School Supplies - Color May Vary

Works amazing for crayons ! 10/10

I was today years when I learned crayons could easily be sharpened with just a small, plastic Fiskars sharpened. Only took about 10, smooth, easy half-turns to sharpen this crayon using the larger of the two holes. What more can I say? It works great, and only costs about $2. Get it!

I was really looking forward to this working as Fiskers is a well known brand. This particular one does not fit large crayons.

It sharpened crayons pretty good for me. But the color pencils and regular pencils keep breaking every time I sharpen them. It’s like it will make them sharp and then it falls out.

I read a few reviews saying these worked with Jumbo Crayola Crayons. I bought it for my son who uses Jumbo Crayons. This does NOT work with Jumbo Crayons. It works well with regular crayons and whatever the size is between the Jumbo and Regular crayons. Large? Does a decent job sharpening crayons. The holes can be a little tight. I understand that this sharpener is probably not meant for crayons. Still, it does a decent job with what crayons can fit.

I bought this to sharpen my kids crayons and it definitely does the job. The regular size crayola crayons did not fit in the smaller hole so I have to sharpen them in the larger hole. It does require me pushing the crayon in kind of hard but other than that it works great and gives the crayons a point again.

It's easy for a 5-year old to use for crayons. All the shavings stay within the container, which is wonderful.

This is a great crayon sharpener. It is unusable as a pencil sharpener — something about the way it shaves the wood just causes the points in my pencils to fall out right away. I mainly bought it as a crayon sharpener and I have a solid pencil sharpener — a little ~$5 cylindrical Staedtler — so I don't really care, but you don't want to buy this thinking it will be good for both. I can't find another crayon sharpener from a reputable brand that's reasonably priced, so I'd still recommend it, but if you need a pencil sharpener, buy a separate one.
