I was not able to get this to work with any type of LED bulb, but OK for incandescent.
I was not able to get this to work with any type of LED bulb, they flickered constantly. However incandescent bulbs seem to be working OK. I bought these sockets because the "normal" light-sensitive bulbs with built-in switches were too bright. I wanted something dimmer for my outdoor fixtures around the garage and side of house. I ended up using 7.5W S11 style incandescent bulbs with these sockets and so far they seem to be working all right.

Very pleased with product. Shipped very quickly. We installed all four of them as soon as we received them and they worked like a charm.

Caught fire.
I got the flickering light. Then one day it caught fire. Luckily I was on the deck when it happened.

Indoor Light Sensor Socket
The sensor is not sensitive enough to know when to turn-on. For an indoor sensor, it needs to be more light sensitive.

save your money
Bought this product to turn on and off an outdoor light. It worked for one day only. My experience with such gadgets (photocell light sensor) regardless of where I bought them has been bad. None of them seem to do what they're supposed to do and that is turn a light on at dark and off at daylight. My solution was to put a CFL bulb in the socket and keep it running night and day. The CFL is 13 watts, outdoor rated, uses very little power and therefore costs very little to run continuously. When it quits, I'll replace it with another CFL.

Think twice
Bought this product. Didn't work. Oh well, must be defective. Sent it back and got a very fast replacement.Still didn't work with compact florescent. Did work with a low wattage incandescent. I tried it in 3 different sockets with three different brands of compact florescent and it just does not work. I will try a different (more expensive) brand.

Don't Buy it
First one....wouldn't work at all. Returned to Amazon, and to their credit their customer service is AWESOME.Second one....worked fine on day one. But as of second day, all it would do is flicker. I could even hear a electrical "pulse" at my breaker box (not the light switch).Doesn't sound like I am the only one that has had this experience with this product.

Absolute garbage. Wast of time and money.
Absolute garbage. Typical for 'made in China'. These are supposed to come on and off in light and dark; instead, they just flicker non-stop. The 'Woods' brand used to be decent quality, but clearly something has changed. Like other reviews, they flicker all the time regardless of indoor or outdoor, light or day, CFL or incandescent. Do yourself a favour and buy a good quality device instead of this cheap one. Annoying that it wasted my time and money, and now I have to print a label and go to a Post Office to return it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT TWO MONTHS AGO (SEPT. 2020). IT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. IF LUCKY, ALL YOU WILL GET IS A VERY FAINT AND FLICKERING LIGHT. HAD I READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND, I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT.
