SewlineBlack Ceramic Fabric Pencil

The mechanical pencil was exactly as described and id great. The delivery was very poor since it was left in my neighbors driveway, where it could have been run over.

As a quilter (and mask maker during Covid), I find fabric markers indispensable. Whether marking a sewing line on half square triangles or tracing a pattern...I seem to always reach for a fabric marker. I’ve purchased a plethora ... disappearing ink, pencils, etc. These are my go-to now. I particularly like the fine point and ability to refill. The basic pencils are fine, but those tend to make a thick line shortly after sharpening and I prefer a fine line. I’ve purchased disappearing ink pens but have ended up with them being dry out of the package or some where I accidentally set the ink with an iron before making it disappear.After much trial and error, these have become my most used. I’m a fan of precision and these work best for that. The eraser on this one is attached and can be replaced as can the leads. I went ahead and bought several so I can have different colors on hand. I initially purchased 1 at a quilt shop as they only had white in stock (my most used color). After buying leads refills in other colors, I came to Amazon to purchase more pencils so I don’t have to change the lead out if I want a different color.This is pretty “spendy” at first, but at my house...gets used frequently and for the reasons stated above, it’s worth the cost.

This product does work, and does mark light fabrics, but I have to go over the marking multiple times to be able to see the mark. This is the "black" pencil. I would call it light grey.

This is a great mechanical pencil for quilting. It comes in several colors so you can write on all colors of fabric. The lead comes out easily if it does show on the right side of the fabric. The lead does last quite a while too. It's one of my must have supplies for quilting or sewing.

I love this little mechanical fabric marking pencil. I also bought the refill with the 3 different color leads, which lets me use it for everything from light to dark fabrics. I really like this pencil. It works well and it's pink. I love pink.

I cross stitch and this is great for drawing my grid lines on my cloth. Nice thin lines and keeps you where you need to be. A must for all fabric crafts.

I have used quilting pencils and pens for years and always had issues. After trying this mechanical-style chalk pencil, I will not be using anything else. I get consistent, thin lines with 1-2 passes.

Very easy to make a mark or line. It does not drag on the fabric. I have four of these so I can have light and dark markers in two places.
