Pro: I've purchased these many times a few years ago and knew the quality and strength were excellent in both the black marble and white marble. I used them not as coasters, but for protection under my many battery operated pillar candles that were made of real wax. It protects the silk runners I have on my bookcase, wood tables, and glass top white marble pillar table that I use in the living-room in front of the loveseat. They do not absorb moisture, but they are perfect for how I enjoy using them. I've also used them as risers for my window holiday decorations to balance the display height as needed. They stack very well and have a soft felt bottom on each one so nothing gets scratched. I have stacked them from one to six coasters high and anything I've placed on them is balanced and doesn't wobble.Con: Unless you have glass stems or footed glass mugs these will sweat with cold drinks placed on them and can cause the marble coaster to adhere to the bottom of ice cold drinks, so I do not recommend them for that situation. Hot beverages are fine, and they work well as protection of your fine furniture. I have placed 'room temperature' wine bottles on them with no issues, because the bottles do not sweat unless they've been refrigerated. Another brand also sells a marble wine holder that that is larger and I've ordered one but it hasn't yet arrived. I'll leave a review on that purchase once I've tried it out on chilled white wines.

These are simplistic in design, yet beautiful. They have a nice weight to them and the size is perfect for my stemless wine glasses, mugs, and other drinkware.These would be a great addition to any housewarming basket.

Use to keep others from staining my honed marble countertop. Work like a charm; have a great felt bottom. Matches my counter top. Heavy and beautiful; a wet glass won't stick to them and pick up glass and coaster like some of my coasters. Good number of coasters for the price.

They're absolutely beautiful. Velvet bottoms. Great white marble design with the grays and all. I just wish they came with a holder and were heavier because when your cup gets wet at the bottom and you pick uo the cup off the coaster, the coaster gets stuck to the cup and falls off and drops onto your table. My table is glass so this is bad. If you have wood or plastic then you'll be fine.

Great coasters, look very classic and elegant. Just needs to be a touch larger, like 4 inches. Looks wonderful in our black and white home.
