Well this model ended up looking good - which is why I gave it three stars
Well this model ended up looking good - which is why I gave it three stars. HOWEVER, for a simple model without many parts, assembly is not that straightforward - specifically the roof. Firstly, if you paint parts before assembly be careful to leave an unpainted strip on the underside of the roof ( part of the underside of the roof is visible after assembly) where you'll be gluing it to the walls. Because of the roof design, it needs a very strong bond with the walls to stay in position. This problem could have been solved by placing the positioning guides in a different place. Secondly, I found it impossible to have both a snug fit for the ventilation "towers" of the roof AND a snug bond between the walls and the roof - the angles are wrong.In the end I compromised! Another beef - the "field stone resin base" has to be purchased as a separate item. The description says "resin base included". Maybe they meant the floor?

Looks great.
My son put it together and it looks great on his display. He even added a light to the inside. He glued the doors in place so they wouldn't fall off.
