Dirty Rhythm And Blues

This is a fun disc that can be a bit near the knuckle for some listeners but I found it very enjoyable. Not as down and downright dirty of Blowfly that there is enough here to offend the maiden aunt. Track 11 on disc one is shown as Work With Me Annie when it is in fact Annie Had A Baby which is the third song in the Annie sequence. Transcription is good considering the age of some of the tracks and some DJs will find it useful for livening up an audience. Recommended.

Good enough, but some tracks not really to my personal taste.Some clever, well thought out lyrics involved, but it is most surprising that many of these recordings ever got released!Good fun though.

Was a lot less quality than I was expecting..... pretty poo reproduction, and just cos it's original stuff doesn't make it good music..... I'll mebe give it another listen but in reality ...3 good tracks

Good item nice music

Interesting Blues cd covering a number of songs that are not generally heard or played. Some very well known artists recorded these songs that show the Blues wasn't all about being down and low!

Just an absolute ear pleasing collection of blues and RnB songs on the naughty side. Really enjoyed the set.

Good fun but not for the woke.

Recorded in 1953 this was groundbreaking stuff!
