Easy assembly and works amazing. Love how sturdy and supportive it is for my license plate. No fear of it falling off. Would buy again.

This arrived promptly. Our Subaru Outback did not have a frame or other mounting for a front license plate. Every time we took it to the car wash, the plate had to be hammered flat again. This mounting bracket was easy to install. The holes in the bracket did not match with the wholes already in the bumper, so I had to drill two new holes. Once that was done, it took all of 5 minutes to attach the mount and then put in the four screws at the corners to hold the plate in place. No issues with the car wash since.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this license plate holder to put on the front of my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek.The predrilled holes are slightly further apart than the bumper holes so keep the first screw loose before installing the second screw. Then tighten. Be careful not to overtighten because you will strip out the nylon inserts.This license plate holder is well made and sturdy but I did come across a few issues:1. The first issue is how to insert the nylon anchors into the bumper. They are initially flat and I had a problem trying to understand how to bend them to look like the picture in the instructions. (See my video)2. One of the threaded inserts fell out without me noticing so be careful handling the holder during installation. Also, always keep a screw in these inserts even if there is no license plate mounted so as not to lose the threaded inserts.3. This license plate holder is flat and doesn’t have a ridge around the border to hold the plate. This means that if your plate is not perfectly flat, it can stick up away from the holder. (See picture) This can cause damage to the plate when going through a car wash and may vibrate while driving, therefore I would recommend buying a license plate frame to go with this mount.4. Since the mounting holes for the holder are near the top and my bumper tapers back and away, the holder has nothing behind it at the bottom. This makes it a bit unstable and can vibrate while driving. I happened to have some 1” weather stripping (See picture), which fit perfectly on the back of the holder to keep it stabilized.(See other picture).

The dealership wanted to charge me $80 (hopefully that included their installing it). I bought another here on Amazon for $10 - too generic - didn't fit the holes in the front of my car. This one was just right. I'm 71 and I easily installed it. Fits good.

This is a well made kit, and has everything you need. The anchors were too long to fit into my '24 Subaru Impreza, so I had to snip the ends off. After doing so, it worked great. NOTE: They do NOT list a '24 as being compatible, only up to '23, so not their fault. I took a chance and it worked out. Holes are in the proper places and the back plate is sturdy.

The plate bracket's two mounting holes line up with the holes in our Subaru Impreza front bumper. That's the only positive for this product. The mounting plate is made of a hard plastic which will disintegrate upon light contact (which is common for car bumpers). A flexible vinyl material is appropriate for the bumper. The installation involves plastic wall anchors (normally sold to mount items on drywall). The anchor wings are bent together in order to insert the wings through the two bumper holes. Once the wings have been inserted, a plastic pin is pressed into the anchor mounting hole to expand the wings behind the bumper. The pin is not supplied. One anchor cracked while bending back the wings. They are made of cheap plastic like the mounting plate. This led to a trip to Lowe's to purchase “Toggler 1/2 inch drywall anchors,” about $3. Once the plate holder is mounted to the bumper, they supply four screws (not stainless steel meaning they will rust) to mount the license plate to the holder. The torx screws are too long and contact the bumper. This dislodges the brass threaded receivers (similar to a nut) which are only pressed into the plate holder by the manufacturer. Due to these design issues, the license plate cannot be mounted without shortening the screws and epoxying the receivers into the plate holder. Screws were cut and shortened with a Dremel and a two-part epoxy was used to secure the receivers. Everything is wrong with this product and I’m amazed any buyer (without some handyman skills and tools) could provide a good review.

I just wanted to say that this product does install on the Subaru BRZ 2024 front license plate area. Those white plug thingies are folded down and insert into the two pre-drilled holes in the front bumper. The plastic holder is screwed onto these white plug thingies and as you insert the screw it locks in place like a dry wall anchor. The plastic holder only touches the car at those white plug thingies, so that is not as strong as it could be. But it works fine. I tried a tow hook license plate holder but I didn't like it. It didn't screw into my tow hook socket very well. In my opinion, this centerline front license plate holder is cleaner looking and quite inexpensive.

I like the machine screw threads on the license plate mounts, as well as the TORX screws to make the license plate harder to steal.The BAD: I expected this to be heavier plastic, but it is fairly flimsy. I wonder how long it will actually last once installed. The points where it attaches to the bumper should be properly reinforced!This is also supposed to be a "no drill" installation, using the existing holes, however THE MOUNTING HOLES on the holder DO NOT LINE UP WITH HOLES FOR A STANDARD US LICENSE PLATE.I would assume that whoever is buying this has a vehicle that did not already have a mount, thus they would be using the holes for the license plate. I can drill the holes, but there was no reason that the manufacturer could not include holes spaced for a standard US license plate.
