Great story with wonderful performances from a brilliant cast

Great condition...

Unfortunately, when I bought this, I didn’t realize it was Blu-ray. So it doesn’t work in my DVD player.

Knowing that the book was a classic I was excited to receive and watch this movie. Unfortunately I fell asleep after trying to watch it for 30 minutes. Must be me but zzzzzzzz.

Received the DVD quickly and in good condition, however, it won’t play on US DVD players. This wasn’t in the description. Very disappointed that I can’t play it. And since I took off the shrink wrap, (not knowing it wouldn’t play) I can’t return it.

This is one of my favorite books. The whole cast in this version was excellent and saved it from being a complete dud. However the decision to go back and forward in time endlessly disrupting the narrative and preventing the build up in the story lines was awful. It made the whole thing choppy. It also meant that Meg and Beth’s stories are minimized in comparison. If you want to see a good version of this, check out the Winona Ryder version.

This DVD won’t play in either of our DVD players or the Smart TV

Den här filmen är väldigt bra och mycket fin. Jag tycker mycket om den för den ger mycket budskap och för att både Emma Watson och Laura Dern är med i den. De är två av mina favoriter av kvinnliga skådespelerskor. Den här filmen har blivit en av mina favoriter då det är en film som Emma Watson och Laura Dern är med i. Ett lyckat köp.
