Thicker than expected but nice size. I did a lot of research to look for another Bible to replace one I gave away. I had narrowed it down to two bibles. This one won out! Beautiful leather feel with a row of flowers down the side etched into the material. It's a nice large print that is easy to read. It includes a concordance, red letters for what Jesus says, beautiful colored maps, two ribbons to save your place in the old and new testaments, silver edge, and the paper is not so thin that you can't make notes on the pages, highlight, or underline. The price was very good for the value of the bible. I purchased repositionable tabs to make locating the various books of the bible. Love it!

This is actually a very nice Bible especially for the reasonable cost! A few years ago I switched from reading the Bible on my tablet with the YouVersion Bible app to a physical Bible. I liked the app because it was light weight, I could enlarge the print and also very easily compare translations. Most all my Bibles were large (heavy) study Bibles with small print or smaller compact Bibles with even smaller print! I purchased a personal size Bible with giant print in the New Living Translation. It has been a joy reading the giant print NLT.... but I missed the NKJV because I was so familiar with it (and initially the KJV). I had memorized so much from the NKJV. So I decided to get a personal size Bible in the NKJV but wanted the same giant size font as the NLT. Could only find "large print". I worried it wouldn't be as comfortable to read as the giant print (I am 74 yrs old). Well it seems to be fine - using my prescription readers. It really is a beautiful Bible, love the purple color; personal size is very comfortable to hold, cover material very nice and it has two wide ribbons. Very happy with it. The NKJV is my favorite translation and I wanted an inexpensive copy to underline, highlight, and make brief notes when studying. (I don't mark in my premium Bibles.) I am more than pleased with this edition. The lovely dark purple synthetic cover is soft and the larger10.5-pt print is easy to read, with generous white space between the lines. It is in verse by verse format and has the words of Christ in red.I've used gel Bible highlighters, Micron pens, and even a regular fountain pen with no bleed-through to the other side of the paper. This edition has features found on more expensive Bibles such as line-matched print with very little ghosting, silver edge gilding, two nice silver-colored satin ribbons, and is Smyth sewn. It lies open easily and is a handy size. There are some end of verse references, translation notes at the bottom, and a concordance and maps in the back.I have several expensive heirloom quality Schuyler and Allan Bibles, but I could be satisfied with only this Nelson edition if needed. I was surprised at how much I like it and its quality. Of course, in any Bible it's the content that is priceless. This is an excellent edition of God's word in one of the more literal word for word modern English translations.

This bible is beautiful! It is so well made and the soft cover makes it easier to navigate. I am definitely glad I got the large print as it makes such a huge difference. My favorite part is the cross references 🤍

This Bible is very nice. My old one was just a cheap KJV paperback from the dollar store, with very small print, so I thought it was time to get a better one with larger print. The N KJV language is easy to understand, and the font is easy to read. I like the headings for each verse. They make it much easier to find what you're looking for. The cover is pretty, but the purple color is much darker than expected. When I first opened it, I thought they'd send a dark brown or black one by mistake.
