I've replaced the charging base once due to radios not charging. Received replacement and they still do not fully charge. Is there a trick to them?

I don’t have any problem, you do have to make sure it is making contact and the light comes on, not a snap fit by any means, if the battery isn’t fully charging sounds like a battery problem not the charger, I like mine. Better than six bases .hope this helps.
