Look No Further - Buy It
I've found this edger/trimmer to be VERY well made, user friendly, and well worth the money. It cuts a beautiful edge using the wheels and automatic line feeder. Has multiple handle and rotating head positions and can be lengthened to suit one's height. Haven't used it as a trimmer yet but there's no doubt it will be just as good around foundations, bushes, etc. I first bought one of the units that came with the steel and plastic two blades plus a circular branch blade. When trying to edge it felt like I had a jack hammer in my hand it bounced around so bad. The unit was cheaply made, and I wouldn't want to use the round steel blade for cutting wood because of safety concerns. If you want to cut wood use a proper wood saw. In closing if you want a solid yard tool for edging and trimming, with a good long-lasting battery, buy this one. I'm 77 and I've owned a few in my days.

Extremely Satisfied
I am 72 years old and have a broke shoulder. My gas weedeater became more than my shoulder could bear so I purchsed this Work GT 20volt weedeater. It is light, doesnt hurt my shoulder and the wheel is a great addition. I was out at 1:30 this morning testing it out. It is so quiet that you can use it any time because it is neighbor friendly. Performance is all they said it would be. Cant wait til te sun comes up so I can edge my curbs professionally. Weed eating around trees , out buildings and fence line are as easy as a wolk in the prark. No if I could just mount this to the mower deck of my john deere I could cut my yard time in half.

Nylon string on spools needs to be vastly improved
This 3 in 1 unit seems to be better than the older 163 model I have. The improvements on this newer model are cool and helps make it more user friendly. Here's why I deducted a star. This model came with three spools of nylon strings. Every single one of these spools are defective. The nylon string on the spools have melted together in spots which caused the nylon strings to snap off.I keep having to use a small screwdriver to separate the nylon strings from themselves and resetup the spools. Finally I got fed up and replaced the Factory spools with an aftermarket spools. Problem solved.I recommend Worx seriously think about getting the nylon "crosslinked" via a commercial particle accelerator company to make the nylon stronger and less affected by heat. Also Worx needs to insure the nylon strings are properly aligned on the spools and not crossing over each other.Worx has a good product here, but crapy nylon is affecting its quality and performance.

Should have bought this years ago
My older Worx weedeater started having motor problems. It lasted over 10 years so no complaints. I love that my original battery will work in the newer model and mostly I love the auto line feed button. Turning my old one upside down to manually feed line was a PITA. I was also surprised that it uses the same line spools. I recently bought a 15 pack. The charger that comes with this trimmer is 4 times faster than my charger that came with my old trimmer. It's a little confusing but the older 20v Max batteries work fine with my new trimmer. They are the same batteries just not branded PowerShare. I also have a coulple 3rd party 2.5ah batteries and they work in the new trimmer no problem.

Good trimmer
This a strong little weedeater. I am 82 and it is light enough for me to use. The battery and string lasted much longer than I thought it would. Our trimming had not been done for several weeks and had grown in some places to two inches. I would by again.

Great trimmer for everyday trimming, lightweight, battery lasts a long time
I needed a lightweight trimmer that I could use easily to do spot work around trees, faucets and other trim work. This was it! It easy folds for storage into a small space, runs a long time on one charged battery, and works like a champ. The string spool looks so small but it lasts a long time, several uses around garden beds, string light poles, flower beds, faucets, etc. I also found out it is adjustable so that I can use it as a lawn mower in tight areas that I can't get the push mower in, cuts as evenly as the mower. it is super easy to change the battery and the string spool. The string spools aren't expensive either. There is nothing I don't like about it. I still use the heavy gas string trimmer for around fences trees, and equipment shed in the pastures on my farm but this one is my every day trimmer now.

Gets the job done, doesn't bog down.
Works great for .28 acre home lot. Battery not the longest lasting, but works great for my needs. I bought the worx blower at the same time, and between the two, I've not run out of power.

Worth the Money
Seems to be pretty sturdy and has worked good for the past two times I’ve used it so far. Was able to cut through some pretty thick weeds. You could probably use a 40 V battery and get a little bit more cutting power. It’s not loud at all. I’m 6 foot have it fully extended, and it’s about perfect reach. Sometimes I have to bend over a bit. It does not self feed line like you would think. When you press the feed button, it stops the head abruptly using kinetic force to get the line to come out about a quarter inch at a time. Will see how she holds up from here on out.
