WOW! Is all I have to say about the Ecopad for the Senseo Machine I dug out of my pantry hoping to one day be able to use it again. That day is right now as I enjoy my coffee the way I like it, with the foam that tops the coffee. Only I didn't have to use the packets that were once sold in every store around me in the Boston area. However i did because i bought a bag just in case. I wad now able to compare the Senseo Pods or whatever they are called and other coffee (of my choosing. Right now I am sipping Starbucks (not because its my favorite but because I had it in my pantry, I know my pantry has it all) I ground up and put into the Eco Pad. After placing it into the machine as directed in the instructions , BANG! My coffee with the frothy foam I LOVE ozzzzed out so I had to give anyone who's like me and at time skeptical on products and there advertising claims that this one is the real deal and the heads up that its for real . This one really works , for how long? I don't know yet but, there are two (ecopads)of them so we'll see? I have yet to try the other one that you place into the unit but for now I am satisfied . My Senseo Machine since i purchased it has been my favorite coffee machine EVER! It is the closet coffee / espresso I enjoyed in Lisbon Portugal .

I have a very old Senseo coffee machine that my husband and I really love, and it's still going strong with no signs of wearing out. While we've had the Senseo, we've worn out other coffee pods and we count ourselves as real "coffee aficionadoes." Am very disappointed that Amazon has discontinued subscriptions for the Senseo Dark Roast and Senseo Decaf Coffee Pods. So, going back and forth trying to decide between paying higher prices for Senseo Coffee Pods from another source, trying to be more environmentally correct, and not wanting to purchase a new, high price single serve coffee makerj I purchased these refillable devices, 2 eco pads and 1 duck bundled together. Have used both and they both make surprisingly good coffee. On the plus side, you can have far more choices in coffee than I had before - I can now have Starbucks, Peets, Green Mountain, fair trade, Dunkin Doughnuts, flavors, whatever. However, both types take a little getting use to as you experiment with different grinds, types and brands of coffee, so I give it a 4 - probably as I get more adept at using them, I would upgrade this to a 5. While are not quite as convenient as the pods, clearly they are far bettter for the environment than the Keurig cups. Amazon shipping was fast and free. Good job!

If you have a Senseo Coffee machine, this Coffeeduck is a must! The coffee is even better because you get to choose your favorite blend and it is likely to be more cost effective than the prepackaged pods. The coffee made with the Coffeeduck is excellent. The Ecopad provides more choices on the strength of the coffee. My sister had a cup of coffee over Christmas; she ordered the Coffeeduck from Amazon; and she has been raving about the perfect coffee ever since. We loved the Senseo when it came out and the coffee was marvelous - although expensive. The Consumer Reports sang its praises both for design and function. I loved the frothy coffee. Do not waste your money on either of these items if you enjoyed the Senseo frothy cofee. You have to pack the filter and with that duck thing and the coffee is weak, watery and foul -even using your own blend! Buy Melitta pods - they fit and get your frothy back!!! Maybe we can get them to do more flavors now that Douwe Egberts is defunct. Patented themselves right out of biz - Dummies! Learn from Keurig.

Thought I would try this since I can't find pods anymore. I was torn between which system to use, so I ordered the combo package.After using both, I only use the Coffeeduck in my Senseo coffee maker. It works even better than the pods since you can add up to double the amount of coffee to it, and any flavor coffee or tea to it.I use the Ecopad in another offbrand coffee maker I have that also uses Senseo pods since the Coffeeduck doesn't fit it. It's a little harder to use, but the extra effort pays off and it also makes excellent coffee.I like my coffee strong, and I use Cafe Bustelo espresso coffee to make a strong european coffee, or Chock full o' Nuts NY Roast to make a strong US coffee. I give them both 5 stars!

I had used the eco-pods before, but had lost them in the last "move"...Wanted to try the Duck....Both are great And both are good to have on hand. Here's why. I use my Duck for day to day coffee , for when I am making the coffee. I use the eco-pods for my dear husband. So it is ready to use. Easier for him.If it was just me, I'd just do the Duck though. BUT...They are both great. No more having to buy those expensive, tasteless pods!

With pods getting harder and harder to find, we decided to try these options. Although both work fine, we found the Coffeeduck easier to use when making coffee one cup right after the other. I like that it still produces foam. If overloaded, it might leak. I use a 2 tbsp scoop heaping with no problems though. Also, just a tip, but you might want to sprinkle in some good cinnamon. :)

Very useful for Senseo Classic coffee maker. Allows user to use coffee of choice. It is too bad Senseo has stopped making the coffee maker. Much more expensive models at gourmet cooking stores do not brew with crema as well as this old Senseo.The coffee duck really allows user to make a great cup of coffee.
