Great curtain rods! Very sturdy and great look. Cost was 1/2 of other rods I found. Install was easy however we did use stronger molly screws.

This is very good quality rod. it is thick and for heavy duty. The rod is black and hangs easily. You can even put heavier drapes/curtains on it because the rod quality is solid. It feels metal to me. It is telescoping style rod opposed to the add a rod that seems to be the style more common. It's great because you get the exact size you need with the way the rod goes in and out. I recommend this rod over other choices. The value is good since the quality seems great so far.

Purchased multiple of these curtain rods fo throughout our home. The installation is easy and the quality is wonderful. We have one along our entire back wall with windows and holds the weight of 4 curtain panels and we’ve never had an issue with tension or bowing. The color is a true black, fills the space and the rod themselves are not heavy but lighter weight.

Easy to install and feels solid on the wall. Smooth finish and looks stylish with my curtains. Holds up well even with heavier drapes.

Love the rod, not the brackets it comes with. I modified the rod by cutting the telescoping ends to the desired length and that really helped with the sturdiness of the overall rod. The larger diameter rods fit together securely by use of separate beefy 12 inch metal inserts that then make it snug which makes the 1-1/8 inch rod portion rock solid and stable. Great engineering and design. The telescoping ends are not as snug, but they adjust in or out to accommodate your desired length, but those are the weakest points of the rod. All well and good. The brackets could be a much better with a cross brace. I looked online to find a separate, stronger bracket that would accommodate the 1-1/8" diameter rod, but couldn't find on Amazon. We needed to add another set of draperies to cover the double sliding door, which then exceeded the recommended weight by 20#. The rod can withstand the weight, but I'm thinking the brackets will eventually bend and fail.

I’ve bought these curtain rods in two different sizes (48-86in and 72-144in) and two different finishes (black and satin nickel). All have been incredible. They’re very sturdy, especially if you screw into a stud (they do give you drywall screw anchors which are also very sturdy, but a bit more of a pain to install so I preferred to try and find at least one stud per curtain). The shorter curtain rods come with 3 brackets whereas the longer rods come with 4, although I only used 3 brackets for the longer ones as well because I was only using two curtain panels (a fourth bracket would have prevented the two curtains from meeting in the middle) and, for my purposes, that was plenty of support. There’s also a screw that goes into the back of the bracket to keep the rod tightly in place once installed which is nice because they won’t slide around when you open the curtain or accidentally pop out of the brackets. The end pieces are really nice and have a hefty weight to them. Definitely a good quality, the finish on them is really nice, and they look far more expensive than they actually are.

My husband and I built a new house, so I have been ordering ALOT of things throughout the last 2 years. Many items I ordered were just not great quality - they looked good online, but when they were in our hands they were really disappointing. However, this curtain rod is one of the most delightful surprises I have ordered! As you can imagine when building a house (that is over 2 years into it and we are FINALLY living in it), we are grossly over budget, so I am trying to save pennies where I can. I thought I would take a chance on this curtain rod - and boy and I happy I did. While not the cheapest rod out there, I wanted to order something that was going to last for several years, so a thicker rod was a must! This rod is simply awesome! Really heavy duty, pretty easy to install and the finish on this rod is first rate! I ordered this for our 6' patio door and the rod is so heavy duty that we probably could have gotten away with only using 2 brackets and eliminating the middle bracket. We didn't even have to use the extra length that came with it! Very happy and will definatey buy this brand again for the next set of windows! Thanks for making a great product!

This curtain rod is the best I've ever found. I don't know if the price is fair. I'm fed up trying to find quality rods for 16 feet wall full of windows. This rod at the largest length is perfect. It's so strong and seamlessly attaches the extensions so beautifully I couldn't believe it. I'm so happy to finally have a good sturdy and attractive rod.

Love this rod. It's matte black not shiny black which is what I wanted. I/we only used three of the four mounting pieces and it's perfect. Already had drapes up and just used the same holes etc ... It's not sagging and the drapes are fairly heavy as the window is 8 foot wide. Perfect rod!

Better price than Home Depot. Well made and sturdy and had to hold 6 curtain panels so heavy duty as well.
