LDR Industries 301 12X4 Pipe Nipple, 1/2-Inch X 4-Inch, Black

I'm still waiting for this. It's a simple pipe nipple so there isn't much that can go wrong but the company that sells it needs to improve it's distribution and fullfillment process.

1/2 by 5 1/2. Not 6” not 5”, just right. Worked great as the perfect length for my tub spout, without leaving too big of a gap.

Used this for an outdoor shower…works just fine. Glad someone had it because nobody in town did.

It fit and served its function.

This 1-1/4" X 6" galvanized nipple is decently made. The threads are cleanly cut and the hot dip galvanized coating seems like it should hold up to exterior use as part of a well riser for a pitcher pump, which is what I am using it for.

Do you know how hard it is to find a cross? None of the big-chain home improvement stores carry such a thing. I needed this for a lamp I was building (out of 3/4" galvanized pipe). I was struggling with re-design when I saw this available. It is perfect for my needs. Not plumbing needs, but perfect nonetheless.

Pipe quality is ok, threading is good, visually looks good.

Good product, but 5 times the price as local for the same brand. Wish I had had the time to check before ordering. Still, the product was well made and a solid item.
