Dropframe Pro Mountain Bike Helmet

Many times new technology does not translate into better product. Not the case with this helmet. It's insanely light, doesn't look too bulky when wearing and is designed to protect your head much better than your typical half-shell helmet and almost as good as a full face helmet. One drawback if you could call it that is it does run one size small. I normally wear a size large for the majority of big bame manufacturers and I had to return the size large I initially ordered and exchanged for an XL. My head measures 23 inches and the XL fit like a glove right out of box. Included with helmet is different size pads that allow you to customize fit. Also of note is this helmet does not have the standard dial at the back of the helmet that allows you to tighten. To be honest, it's designed so you don't need this feature and I am quite confident it we would stay in place in the event of a crash. Being transparent, Fox's sizing chart for this model helmet is speced different than most of their other helmets and chart showed I am an XL. I we as r this helmet when riding my trail and enduro mtb's. Vents are well designed and allows plenty of airflow to keep you cool. Speaking of cool, the magnetic headstrap lock mechanism is a marked improvement over out dated clip closures.

Prevented a freak crash from being fatal while riding with CE level 2 pads in the pants and jacket when a cyclist cut me off while I was going 28 mph and I impacted two steel barriers. I would recommend them based on quality and comfort. Im very thankful for this helmet.

This helmet is comfortable, great looking and adds some nice extra protection for your neck and ears. The magnetic buckle is a game changer. I also love how Fox sends an extra padding kit to accomodate for slight size differences. I will say that I ordered a medium first and it was very small, sent it back for a large and it fit perfectly.

Keeps you safe and looks good

I had just recently joined our high school mountain bike team. I bought this helmet and when I got it I couldn’t stop wearing it. It’s so comfortable and light, it does run small but it’s fantastic. On the second ride of our high school team training. I crashed on the trail and broke my left clavicle bone. I went down right on my face. The helmet did it job without a single flaw. As you can see in the pictures it’s pretty banged up. It protected my head beautifully. And afterwards I was sad to see it that way. Great helmet!! Thanks Fox’s for a wonderful experience.

Great helmet for added protection around head. Fits snuggly so you can be sure it will stay in place when you need it. Included different size padding to custom fir to your head. Runs a bit small- id normally get a larger but had to get an XL- well worth the $$

This helmet has been outstanding. I come from a motocross background and hate the way most bike helmets fit like they're on top of your head. This feels like a regular full helmet that I'm accustomed too. Maybe a little warm during the summer but it is black so... Don't have much negative to say. Took a big hit to the head on a bad crash and the helmet saved my noggin so it was worth every penny. Gotta retire it now and will probably get the same. All in all I really liked it. Fit, feel, protection were 5 star. Went with 4 because it could have had a little better ventilation but overall I was happy with it.

U like the 1/2 lids that sit on top of your head, this helmet gives confidence and support like a regular helmet. It is well vented, light and great looking. Go a size up from what you normally wear. I normally wear L so an XL fits me. It's a change of season year round helmet

Love this helmet. It has MIPS to protect against rotational brain injury- essential on a bike helmet in my opinion. The drop side protection protects against mandibular , jaw/ear region, injury which they say is most common in mtb riding. It looks insane especially with your goggles on.
