Thomas and the Magic Railroad : Diesel 10 Means Trouble Paperback – June 27, 2000

My son has only had this book 4 days and it looks like he has had it for years. For Thomas fans, my son has just been introduced to Diesel 10 and loves him. He is trying to understand why he is so mean and angry and this has been a good intro for me to teach him about people he may come across in life not being nice and happy like he is. I have changed a few word around when reading this to him as we don't use them in our house, but overall my son loves this book and carries it with him everywhere.

This book is essentially a companion to the Thomas and the Magic Railroad Movie. It has similar lines and phrases, and my son was especially drawn to it because he loves Diesel 10. This was not a very good bedtime book because my son got so excited during the chase scene toward the end. However, this is a beloved book by all of us during the day! =)

My son, who loves Diesel Ten, seemed to like the book. It's kind of weird though, with some characters that I've never seen on the show / movie, like a magic conductor with gold dust and "Lady" a train that provides magic dust? Not one of my favorites. If you have a kid who likes Diesel Ten, though, it does the trick.Also, Toby plays a decent role in case your kid is into Toby at all. I know sometimes kids latch onto some of the more obscure characters, so it's hard to find books that touch on them. Toby does well here :)

bought this for my little cousins birthday . he luvs it . asks for someone to read it to him every night befor bed. good book good price

Our grandchild loves diesel 10 so this was a super big hit. He loves anything diesel 10 so his collection is growing quickly

The writing does not match with any of the other Thomas & Friends books.

If you are three and obsessed with diesel 10 this is for you! However for story telling if you have not seen the film u would find the book a bit bizarre! As it is based on the film starring alec baldwin it leaves too much for the imagination! A definite accompaniment to the film but probably not the best read for young children on it's own!
