Perfect Replacement
The threads on my old CPU back plate got stripped, so I ordered this. It is the same weight and material as the original and worked great.

Great fit and compatability with AM4
I ordered this as a replacement for the backplate that I lost. I switched from an AMD CPU to Intel and then back again. During that time, I lost the backplate.Thankfully, I found this one. It was a perfect fit for my MSI motherboard and Corsair 7000D case. Fitment can vary from case to case due to QA issues, etc., but this item should absolutely work as an OEM replacement in/on any standard case/motherboard for use with AM4 CPUs.The backplate was solidly made, with a plastic cover to protect against shorts. I used a very large MSI CPU air cooler. This plate had no issues with the threading of the screws, length of the original screws, or the extreme weight of the cooler.I eventually switched to a Corsair CPU water cooler. Again, I had no issues with fitment or threading of the new screws.If ever needed I would buy this backplate again without hesitation.

Perfect replacement for OEM
After replacing my stock cooler with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, I discarded the OEM support plate. Fast forward a couple years and I decided to upgrade to a Corsair H100i liquid cooler, which requires the OEM backplate. This part worked perfectly for my AM4 motherboard. Fine quality and arrived exactly as described. 10/10 would buy again

This new back plate fit perfectly and allowed me to install the new water cooler without issues.
Some time ago I purchased a Cooler Master cooling fan/heat sink for my motherboard. To install it, the original CPU back plate had to be removed and replaced by a part supplied by Cooler Master for their product. Over time, I managed to lose it. Recently, I replaced the Cooler Master fan/heat sink with a water cooler and I needed the original CPU back plate in order to install it. In order do this I ordered this new which only set me back $10. This back plate fit perfectly and allowed me to install the new water cooler without issues.

Worked on my Asus rog x570
I didnt keep the original backplate when I first installed my board. Needed the am4 plate for my nzxt kraken and this one fit perfect and accepted the hardware just fine, Def a recommendation if you need a backplate replacement.
