Performs as it should with a C-64, but will not run a C-128.
I purchased this item to power a "new to me" C-64. It has been working fine without any issues. A month or two later, I purchased a C-128, and decided to purchase the adapter that this company offers rather than purchase another supply. When I tried it, it worked initially, but the computer quickly shut down after booting to the initial screen. I do not think this supply can provide the necessary current for the C-128.If you plan on running both computers, better off getting the supply for the C-128 and the adapter for the C-64.

Works perfectly fine for me, but LED is annoying and unnescessary
The headline says it all. This works great and I'm happy to finally stop being an idiot tempting fate and using an OEM power brick. The only complaint so far is that they have a bright white LED behind the logo on the front of the enclosure, and besides being annoying it's totally unnecessary. I ended up putting a piece of electrical tape over it but it's so bright light will still shine out of the vents on the side. Which are also pretty large and are just holes, so if anything small and conductive were to fall in there POOF.Now that I'm thinking about it I'll probably be removing the LED and printing up a better enclosure.

Voltages not correct
Check voltages, voltages were way too high on mine which caused issues with my c64

Voltage output WAY TO HIGH
I purchased this for use with my commodore 64 and discovered that the unit does not supply the necessary voltages on any of the pins. Some were in excess of 47v (none should exceed 9v ac)which to say the least was discouraging. To add insult to injury the bottom of the brick has the pin out with the correct voltages on printed on it. I had the item replaced in case it was a one of manufacturing defect. However the replacement had the exact same issue. Returning this and getting something else.... Ibcannot recommend this item....at minimum it wont work and at worst it will likey ruin your c64 or VIC 20.
