Sigh. I adored these and had spent weeks searching. Bought this and other dishes from the lines. A starting over gift for myself and hoping for the first and last dishes for my new life. My kid helped me pick them out. They are beautiful and cheerful and I love them. Kid said we’d feel happy when we look at them. All true.Except if you look at them funny, they chip. A breeze blows and they chip. A butterfly flaps its wings a state over, they chip. I am trying to switch to handwash only (I’m in a wheelchair) but that’s not really the issue. They chipped so fast and the chips are often sheer slices that can cut.I found a way to pad the sink and rinse/stack to limit contact. But I can’t undo the dishes in each set that were already damaged. I’m seriously sad about this because they are lovely and cheerful. We were finally able to pick colors and patterns we actually like so this is really disappointing.

We love these plates.... whimsical fun pattern perfect for spring 🤗❣️ This is my second set of dishes from Bico, they are nice quality at a fair price, I will continue to shop their dishes. In recent times as we're all home cooking more I enjoy having a selection of dishes to suit the meal I have prepared each day... they make this a joy to be able to do! Thank you 😊

They tend to slip out of my hands with soapy water. I have to go slow and be careful washing them by hand. That being said, they are gorgeous and go well with my Calico Blue dishes.

Overall, these are great, beautiful--I just haven't owned them long enough to say exactly how sturdy and durable they are (so far, none have broken in dishwasher or microwave).
