Just love the scent of this candle. It literally smells like a vanilla cupcake that was just baked. The house has such a pleasant smell that makes you happy. This was a great deal for the money compared to buying it in a retail store. The seller had the candle in an individual box that had a sturdy wrap around it to keep it safe during shipment. When the candle is lit, it gives off a beautiful glow. The glass container and lid are very durable and the color of the wax looks like vanilla. So happy, as this is a gift.

Nice candle, but very strong smell.

I bought this candle while it was on sale which was a deal in itself since they are normally pretty expensive. It was a gift for my daughter-in-law and she loved it. The smell is amazing and the candle lasts so long. It gives off a warm and cozy feeling when used which is so nice. The best part of the purchase was the packaging. I was nervous with ordering a glass jar knowing the packages get tossed around during transport but this was packaged so well it didn't matter. I wish I bought more at the time.

Pro: I purchased this brand and Vanilla Cupcake candle because I wanted to freshen up my apartment and also have an emergency power outage candle for when we have those California rolling blackouts to prevent electrical fires during summer heatwaves when air-conditioners are in high use. I don't have one of those, but everyone is affected when our power company has to do it. I can rest easy with this candle in its own glass jar and it has a strong scent within a half hour of burning it that I'm not allergic to and my partner said he thinks it smells like a vanilla tapioca pudding rather than a cupcake, and I agree. My small senior apartment complex isn't allowed to have candles that aren't in a safe heat resistant glass container so this is perfect. It is important to trim the wick prior to using it and each time thereafter to 1/4". Instructions are listed on the product box. Keep out of drafts to lessen the wick smoking and extend the life of the candle.Con: We moved the candle from the bedroom to the living room (which is much larger) because the candle scent becomes very noticeable after about 20 minutes or less in each room. If you have a larger home (mine is 600 sq. ft.) it may take longer to fill the entire home. I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con, but I mention it because I suspect it depends more on how long you want to enjoy the pleasant light. I highly recommended it even though we are both sensitive to all fragrances. Hope that helps folks decide. I have enjoyed the second one I purchased even more because the weather has been pleasant enough to leave the windows open. Definitely a positive for me now!
