Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault

Such a good bag, tons of space and sections, super comfy and looks great. All the materials and build quality are top notch, blows my previous The North Face bag out of the water. Would happily recommend anything from Mystery Ranch in the future!

Solid bag, all the materials and pockets seem to be designed sensibly and are of a good size. Fixed maximum size of the main pocket minimises beach-balling on your back so carrying when full on remains comfortable and convenient. Also contained a surprise pocket as I was unaware of the two-part pocket on the lid flap. Only issue I found was that it ended up being a touch too large for every day use at my job, so it gets used less than anticipated. On the whole however, it is excellent as a day hike bag/ overnighting bag in the summer in warmer climates.

The back panel of this pack contains a piece of foam in the lower lumbar area. When the pack is full, this foam protrudes, causing the weight of the pack and everything it contains to rest against your back on a narrow ridge of foam, rather than making contact evenly across your back. As shown in the photos. This issue makes the pack very uncomfortable. No pack should work like this, especially not a £200 pack designed to last decades. Every other aspect of the pack seems great, and I really wanted to like it, as it's exactly what I need, but this terrible back panel means I'll have to return it.

Absolutely love this pack. It’s the perfect size for every day carry and makes a great trail pack as well. Provide just enough internal organization to not be a large dump pouch, but not so much that you lose gear in gimmicky secret pockets. I’ve bought one for my daily commute/work purposes, and one for my day hikes! Harness system provides all day comfort with moderate loads (20-25lbs) !

ottimo zaino edc e per escursioni giornaliere zaino molto ben fatto, anche se non proprio leggerissimo, ma lo sto usando da qualche mese ogni giorno e risulta molto efficiente come zaino edc. Ovviamente riesce bene anche in un utilizzo escursionistico, per uscite di un giorno, ma se siete essenziali anche per 48-72 ore.
