I am a nurse and I write every single day. have found this pan to be perfect. It’s not too expensive and it’s nice and sturdy, but very elegant. This pan makes writing or enjoyable when you have to do a lot for your job. Recently, I had an issue with the lid after I had dropped it. The company are replacing it for me with very good customer services. Additionally, been able to get the refills from the same place is amazing. Thank you.

I physically write a lot all day, every day and was getting fed up with cheap, unreliable biros. Over the years, I have had a series of upmarket pens/biros, but I stopped using them as they didn’t always work immediately when you put pen to paper.I was looking for a new, upmarket pen that could do what I wanted when I came across the name Scriveiner, which seemed to ring a bell. Some 10 years ago, I had purchased a piece of writing software called Scrivener, which I had found to be superb, and so I thought I would look at this particular pen. The presentation was excellent, and so I purchased it. It was only later, on inspecting the pen, that I noticed the name was slightly different to that of the software.However, on trying it for the first time, and to quote the well-known phrase, “it did exactly what it said on the tin”. It was easy to hold and on making contact with the paper, it wrote smoothly and consistently as a pen should do. On contacting their support department on an unrelated issue, I was pleasantly surprised to receive prompt responses, which in this day and age is most unusual.Scrivener, you have my full recommendation to anyone who is considering purchasing your pens.

The pen is really good. Even it's writing so smoothly. The quality is good as well. But it seems like it's a gel pen, not ballpoint, which is strange as there is no mention of gel on the product page.I am giving 4 star for the same reason.

Beautiful pen in style, shape and weight. Perfect flow of ink as well and very happy with it. Bought in March 2024 for my 40th and got it engraved (silver on silver is very subtle but nice and Scriveiner wasn't doing engraving back then). Customer service has been terrific at the beginning with lots of questions and now, over a year later, too. The presentation box is attractive, which I kept, and the cloth, spare ink and spare spring is an appreciated touch. Fair prices and I would highly recommend this pen and this company. The silver with gold was my favourite and the medium ink. I ordered a fair few to see which I liked the best and the classic look gets my vote and I preferred the rollerball experience to the fountain pen. Very happy customer and enjoying using it - it gives a special feel every time!
