I was genuinely surprised by how well this kit worked. My headlights were heavily oxidized and cloudy, making the car look older and reducing visibility at night. The instructions were easy to follow, and the entire process took less than an hour. The before-and-after difference was dramatic. The lenses went from yellowed and hazy to clear and bright, as shown in my photos. The kit included everything I needed, and the results looked professional without having to pay for a costly restoration service. If your headlights are dull or foggy, I highly recommend giving this product a try. Great value, easy to use, and impressive results.

Amazing product. My car is 9 years old and I live in the desert South West with gritty winds. My headlights were in bad shape. They now look almost new! Easy to use, just follow the instructions. Does not require a lot of arm/hand strength. So glad I found this product.

After a bad and expensive job done, I decided to do it myself. It was much more easier than I expected and cheaper too. No power tools needed, just some painter’s tape to protect the paint, a spray water bottle and paper towels. Just make sure to follow the instructions. I feel satisfied with the outcome so I recommend this product.

I knew going in that my expectations shouldn't be very high because my car is a first generation 2010 Kia Soul. So its old with 16 plus years of yellowing oxidation and some abrasion. I took a chance with doing this because of the reviews and pictures. To my surprise, it worked better than I anticipated and could hope for. My driver side(left) headlight was horrible but my passenger side(right) wasn't too shabby and didn't require as much care. This would have turned out better if I had power drill attachments of the same sanding grit to do this. My arm is going to be really sore come Sunday. 😆 It wasn't too hard to follow the instructions as they were very simple for the application process. I don't know about the 2 years for it lasting, but for now, its durable. Once I drive at night, I'll be able to But all in all, it worked for me and its better than before I tackled it. All in all it looks good, I feel like I'll have a better beam when night 🌙 driving.

I was skeptical, but it worked quite well. The headlights had been dim, and we'd been resorting to using high beams. I thought I needed to replace the lights, but accidentally stumbled onto this type of kit. First off, I didn't have automotive tape, so I just used regular masking tape. It worked fine. I also used my own gloves as the box only had a single glove (not a pair). I polished each light manually using the provided sandpapers: first with 1000-grit for 5 minutes each, then 3000-grit for 10 minutes each. I didn't do a very good job of rinsing off all the white gunk from sanding that built up around the lights, even though I wiped the lights themselves very clean. In hindsight, that gunk should all be rinsed off well because some of that got in the way when I applied the wipes. I was also kind of clumsy applying the wipes, the 'perfectionist' in me just couldn't help going over some parts more than once, even though the instructions say not to. But the end results still look pretty good to me. I hope they'll last for a while. I plan to buy some UV protective spray for the lights and apply on a more regular basis as maintenance.

In short: this kit is reasonably cost effective as an add-on to the more expensive restoration kits (that do not include UV coating wipes). It may be good enough for plastic lenses that are starting to fade or have no deep scratches, as the sanding materials start at a relatively high grit. One word of caution - the UV wipes seem to dry quickly which can leave some streaks on the last light you wipe. I have found it is easier to complete both lights when the lenses are cool/at ambient temperature. In greater detail: I have had success removing light scratches and moderate oxidation (yellow tint) from older plastic lights by sanding in stages of 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 (wet), 3000 (wet), followed by a stage of rubbing compound, then the UV protectant wipes from this kit. As this process is only applied to the outside of the lenses, it may not result in a fully restored/clear lights in every situation. However, it certainly improved my night time visibility without incurring the costs of new/replacement headlights. It can take a little while to finish all these steps even though they are easy to do. Using just the contents of this kit could reasonably take 40 minutes (each wipe cycle has a 15 minute curing period). The results of doing this in a hurry may not match the pretty example on the box.

At under $10, I wouldn't say this is a poor value, but it isn't the be-all end-all solution that many reviews would indicate. The level of UV damage and yellowing that can be corrected with the various available kits is a bit subjective, but I would consider the lenses I had as moderate yellowing. I wasn't getting the result I had hoped for on the first lens, so resorted to some 1500, 2000, and 3000 wet/dry sandpaper for the other - and as one would expect with an extra intermediate grit, it was better... but considering that this is only a temporary solution that you'll need to repeat every year or so, I'd just buy the sandpaper (plenty of sheets for other uses and subsequent lens treatments). The pads in this kit deteriorated a bit quicker than I would have expected, so only good for one time. Again, perfectly sufficient for a one-time, short-term fix, under $10... but had admittedly hoped for some 3M magic on the grit or compound. Three stars is not bad. It's just "meh." Should have just started with the sandpaper.

This really works. The kit was large enough to restore both front headlamps of my 2009 Toyota Rav 4. You will need a spray bottle of water, some removable masking tape, and some rags in addition to the kit. It took about 45 min, including the 15 min wait time between coats, to restore both lenses with no prior experience. The drivers side lens looked even worse than the "before" photo in real life, and now looks brand new. The instructions show a small headlamp and state that larger headlamps might need a second kit. This kit could have done even larger lenses that my Rav 4, without buying an extra. Overall, this was a great value.

Não é o kit mais completo, melhor procurar pelo completo caso o farol esteja muito fosco, como o meu não estava tanto, serviu ao propósito, eu tinha lixas que haviam sobrado do outro kit que tinha comprado antes, então foi o suficiente.

My headlights had patches of haziness and medium-deep scratches. The instructions to the headlight restoration kit were simple to follow and the whole process took about 30 mins. The headlights look brand new after. Highly recommended!

Pues yo honestamente le doy una calificación de excelente. Pensé cuando abrí el paquete que solo las lijas era eso una simple lija pero al utilizarla y mezclar con el agua, desprende una especie de jabón que ayuda a la restauración. Adjunto fotos de cómo estaban al principio los faros y cómo quedaron. Fue fantástico, algunos quizás digan que no quedaron como nuevos, pero pues si no son nuevos cómo esperas eso. Eso sí en todo momento hay que estar mojando el faro y la esponja para obtener el resultado. Compraría el producto nuevamente, quedé muy satisfecho con el resultado y en la lijada de los dos faros en total me tardé media hora y ya con la aplicación de las toallas protectores otra media hora porque hay que esperar a que entre cada una seque entre 5 y 15 minutos. Es decir, en una hora logré el resultado. Excelente.
