Great basic season
It is a great basic jerky seasoning that I think you definitely need to use more than what is called for I often add other spices to this but for the price this works and is a decent flavor.

I've reviewed 4-5 A.C. Legg seasonings now. They are ALL fantastic.This jerky seasoning is no exception. we just made our first batch with beef. We cannot wait to try it with venison.If you ever need a good seasoning or are new to sausage making/smoking meats, trust A.C. Legg.

Nice seasoning
This seasoning has great flavor, but you'll want to add a little more than what they call for. If not it lacks the amount of flavor that I really like. I do a heaping tablespoon per pound of burger when I'm making my burger jerky.

Weak Flavor with Ground Meat
I thoroughly mixed the cure in with bag of seasoning. I used a 5 heaping tbsp.'s of mix for 4.5 pounds of 93% lean ground beef.VERY WEAK flavor is what I got in the finished product.Next time I believe I will try using 8 heaping tbsps. and see where that leaves me.But my thoughts are, IF I have to use nearly twice the amount of product recommended to get what I want, then this doesn't make 25lbs as advertised. It makes roughly 1/2 that... Kind of takes away from the great price...

VERY GOOD.
This tastes great. I have to admit, i like it bwtter them LEMs Backwoods Original. Now I used a little under 1 oz per pound for a bit stronger taste. Somthing odd though. When you mix most cures with meat, it turns the meet a dark brown. This turns the meat a brighter red. I thought this was off till I saw a pic of their beef jerky on their site was also red. If you look at my pic, i jave a peice of normal jerky below the Leggs.

Great flavor
Love the flavor but this pack is made for 25 pounds of meat. The product is packaged by weight so it is hard to guess at the amount to use for smaller batches. If they had directions for smaller amounts it would get five stars
