Buster the Very Shy Dog (Green Light Readers Level 3)

I loved how Buster learned what his talents were!!!

This book is actually three separate stories about "Buster", who is a very shy dog. These were bought for a child with social anxiety and it was nice for the child to be able to read about a character who felt the same as he did. As nice, was the fact that Buster would face his fears and be rewarded with a positive outcome.Cute story, simple pictures. I'd recommend!

We stumbled upon this book at our local library as my then 3yr old son loves any books with dogs. We've subsequently purchased it. Turns out this book is not only a great book of 3 short stories, but it also has a great lesson too. My son is pretty shy and this book is about, what else, but a shy dog, as well as a bossy dog and some bossy cats. It explains that while the dogs are different, they both have good qualities. Buster finds his way to shine even in the shadow of "Phoebe".A great book for anyone, but a must read for shy kids!Carolyn

This book has three short stories about Buster who is shy. I love using this in therapy with kiddos it's a great way to start a session. The children grow to love Buster as they relate to him!

My shy 5 year old enjoyed the stories. They are short and easy to read and the pictures are super cute!

My daughter who is almost 3 really likes this book. We picked it up from the library, along with the other book about Buster and Phoebe, and she willingly sits through both books. Each chapter ends so that you could stop and put it down and move onto something else but she asks that I go onto the next chapter. It's really not as long as it appears, the words are simple, storyline is cute, resembles my own dogs, and makes me smile along with my daughter.If you like dogs and have a toddler, you'll probably think it's cute too and so will he/she.

good learning book

The book covers some good aspects of human relations from the point of view of a shy youg person. My daughter has some anxiety issues and i bought it for her. She liked it and associated with Buster. She asked me to read the book for her many many times. I find the book well written and also like it.

This is an adorable little book I bought for my granddaughters.It teaches a simple and valuable lesson and quickly became one of their favourite bedtime stories.

Very good book for all kids especially shy children. I enjoyed reading it to my daughter.
