Not just for "patients," but for everyone!
I was first brought to this product when trying to find nickel-free stainless utensils to replace the old standard 18/10 stainless used in all kinds of cooking/eating roles in a kitchen - silverware, pots, pans, bowls, etc. Most people either have no idea what is actually occurring or think it doesn't affect them. Wrong. It does. Metals and plastics and non-stick cookware, melamine, too many products to name, ALL leach toxins (and things like nickel from stainless steel, that the body can't process and is toxic) into foods and silverware also leaches it right into both food and mouth.People are doing this self-toxifying every day, several times a day, and to their whole families, blindly believing the lies fed to them by marketing departments (marketing is massive manipulation, below the detection of most people. Don't believe me, go read some books by the best marketers around. You'll be appalled, but likely more sober and awake, hopefully). After switching out all - yes, ALL - the regular stainless steel in the kitchen - all pots, pans, skillets, silverware, bowls, etc. and replacing them with glass or 21/0 stainless, I found myself reading about and ordering Truflavorware's 4-piece place setting. After ordering and returning bamboo utensils for their tacky questionable coatings, and wood treatments with who knows what, I replaced all utensils with silicone. All stoneware had to go, as well, and ceramics avoided too, because their glazes leach and often contain lead in the paint, as can regular glass. All the toxins that leach out into foods and mouths from all that toxic stuff do so at an even far-higher level when in contact with ANY acidics, like tomatoes. It is a known fact that foil literally disintegrates into tomato sauce when being cooking with it covering and contacting it, or when pressure cooked, sprouting holes in the foil.Where did that metal go? Into your food. Foil in contact with foods/acidics is Transference - the foil leaches into the food. You may just be "used to the taste."These researchings led me to try out Truflavorware for it's purity and strength advertised. After using it - and rarely ever anything else, tho' all the silverware is now 21/0 stainless (no nickel - thank you, Oneida!) - for well over a year, I ordered another set. I will continue to do so, as they are all I eat with anymore, because all you taste - FINALLY - is your food without your silverware leaching anything into it or your mouth/body or that of your family/kids.A few short years ago, many people still thought the choice someone made to avoid wheat was some snooty stance of pretentiousness. I used to think that myself - "It's fluffy, it's yummy, it's wheat! It can't hurt you!" SO wrong. Until you fully get clean of wheat/grains (& sugars) and clear those things fully from your system (it only takes 2 weeks & you can have protein/veg), you can't ever realize the effects of it. Put another way, until you get clean, you won't recognize you were *that* dirty, for instance. Now, people are beginning to recognize the toxic effects of a grain humanly-engineered and altered in growth and processes to be an addictive food-craving substance with spike-and-crash effects similar to highly-refined sugar or drugs, harvested by pre-soaking the wheat fields for several days by drenching them with round-up.Bon appetit.Swapping the old kitchen gear for better choices will fall short if you are still eating with leaching metals.Truflavorware should be heavily "marketed" - or, rather, Shared - to the entire planet as the gold standard of eating instruments. The idea of having something with tomato sauce from a metal fork or spoon is cringe-worthy after using Truflavorware. There is nothing I have found that comes close to it for purity or strength. The set I first ordered and use every day still looks (and tastes!) brand new - it has no chips, nicks, stains. Just pure eating perfection. Companies like these should win awards. If you are on a path or have a clean-living, clean-eating lifestyle, you need these. Order 1 set and you'll see what I mean. Then you will want more, and rightly so.This product should be available in every store for consumers to purchase. You need have no illness at all for you and your family to benefit greatly from this flatware set. The marketing materials for these products should represent more ardently the clean alternative to an eating-toxifying general public/world, instead of just a chemo audience.Even using the 21/0 silverware to eat something non-acidic, I can still taste the metals. Yuk. Plastic is a definite toxic NO. Bamboo is often manufactured with questionable additives and processes and who knows what, so that's a NO.Truflavorware is the solution.Sure, getting clear of junk in the food-lifestyle takes work, but dividends come from investments. The book, Wheat Belly, can show you why.Luckily, companies like Truflavorware exist - fighting upstream to share their terrific product-set with the world in a bid for better health, smarter choices, healthier families, and being able to experience the pure flavor of *only* your foods and gourmet creations.Simply delicious.

Awesome product
The main reason it was ordered was to see if it would help encourage eating while doing chemo treatments. Well done, she's able to eat again. Product was nicely packaged and arrived on time. This is some of the strongest flatware we have ever used along with being very comfortable in our hands. We used the big spoon to scoop ice-cream with no problem.

Safe and Healthy Eating Utensils
When I first heard of truflavorware I thought it was about the taste of food. But it's way more than that. It is a totally inert compound that does not leach into food or hot drinks like metal and plastic utensils. Steel utensils transfer minerals into the food and immediately change its' electrolytic structure and taste. Cancer patients are most sensitive to the terrible taste of utensil contaminated foods. Truflavor is their solution to taste and a healthy recovery.Metal and plastic not only change the food, they also are swiped against our lips, the most submissive part of our digestive system, during which more indigestible minerals and dangerous chemicals are deposited directly into our systems.Metal or plastic have not touched my lips or food since the introduction of truflavor 9 years ago. I even take it to restaurants, traveling, work and just to have one in case of emergency eating. If you think the chef might be insulted... think otherwise, it is a compliment to demand the true flavor of their craftsmanship. Keep an extra set... the chef is going to want one.

Good quality.
I like the quality and design. It's great for anyone that's undergoing medical treatments that make it hard to use metal cutlery. A+

Works for my Fussy Eater
The flatware arrived just before a meal. So, after they were washed, my husband used them to eat. He commented that the food tasted much better. We didn’t know that the chemo was causing the food to interact with the metal flatware causing the food to be unpalatable. He eats much better, when using the TruFlavorWare.

No metal taste
Thanks to TruFlavorWare I can eat food without the metal taste. Chemo makes everything have a metal taste but silverware increased that taste. Now I can enjoy my food. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Definately recommend
Very well made, not flimsy. Fork has pointed tips, great for "forking" your food instead of scooping like you must do with blunt tip forks. Would have liked the large spoon to be more of a soup spoon, but still good.
