Inexpensive choice for the health of your furry partner.
My 18+ year old Dachshund swears by these vitamins! Well, I think she does anyway. She happily consumed the tablets even as her diminishing number of teeth forced us to break the tablet in half and add a bit of peanut butter icing. She's been taking them for a few years now and remains a constant companion ready at a moments notice to consume treats, revel in petting and sleep through most anything. These vitamins are a simple, inexpensive way to be certain that your pet gets the nutrition they deserve for sticking by you through the torments of an unselfish friendship. If only we were as wonderful as our pets think we are.

Perfect for my two senior dogs on a homemade food diet!
These vitamins are wonderful. I have two senior dogs, "Taffy" who is now 14 and "Ralph" who is 18. Each dog gets one vitamin daily added to their food. I smash it up and mix it in as "Taffy" is a bit picky with eating a big cube, and well "Ralph has no teeth. "Taffy" was diagnosed with "Cushing's Disease" and after much research she is now off "ALL" commercial dog food. I make her food from scratch fresh every two weeks and freeze what I don't use and then thaw it out the night before. I decided to put both dogs on the fresh homemade dog-food because "Ralph" was getting less and less interested in eating his commercial food and he loves his homemade food better. I wanted to supplement the homemade food with a full vitamin to make sure both dogs were getting everything essential. My recipe consists of "Cooked ground Turkey, plain instant oatmeal, carrots, beans, spinach, sweet potato's and plain cooked scrambled eggs. I use frozen string beans, frozen carrots and frozen spinach. The Carrots thawed and pureed along with the cooked sweet potatoes. The frozen food has nothing added like salt or preservatives. Both dogs also get a tablespoon of canned 100% Pure Pumpkin to aid in digestion and of course pumpkin for dogs has a lot of other added benefits as well. These Vitapet vitamins for senior dogs are a "Great" product, I m happy knowing my dogs are getting their vitamins, thank you!

Dog Treat/Vitamin
I’ve been giving these to my dogs for several months now and they both absolutely LOVE them! I give them each one daily and they think they’re getting a treat instead of “medicine”, lol. I have two small dogs that get these and one of them is extremely picky with what she’ll eat…. But she will normally eat them by themselves, on occasion the pickiness comes out, so I just dab a little peanut butter or some canned food on it and she’ll scarf it right down then! It’s also a trusted brand, and they seem to do their job! I totally recommend these if you’re looking to switch or start your babies on vitamins!

Carefully, w caution, at 1st, only give a teeny bit of one vitamin
In our entire life, and years and years with Amazon, we have never written a negative review. And as an attorney, it is not our motive to disparage this Vitamin and its company. However, this product arrived on Thursday evening, April 4, 2017, and we immediately gave our healthy, 14 yr old 10 lb, Barrister, one vitamin with her dinner. To not make this an epic, after never-experienced, intense agitation at 1:00 AM for 45 mins, we knew the 24 hour Vet was urgently needed.Getting in car, she had her 1st ever seizure, followed by 4-5 more by end of day Friday at our regular (22 years) Vet--all the time being told by the attending docs that she Must be put down, even providing a private room for a 'death vigil.'When she began licking my face and wagging her tail, albeit barely able to stand and somewhat cognitively impaired, all the time hearing 'it is time; she cannot survive', we decided we had seen her seining and could endure what was to come, and would prefer she die in our arms at home, thus, we left. One long week was all it took: of no walks, not eating (11-7 lbs), barely knowing us nor able to walk wit falling, and incontinent, while letting Google Vet sites give us guidance, she is now completely her old self, eating like horse, barking (almost never before barked and sleeping on our bed...she never, never slept there)...AND NOT ONE SINGLE SEIZURE SINCE April 5th...Thankful to our God, we are grateful for each day we have left w her... but are not we all?Just give your pet, to start, a teeny, tiny bit of one vitamin, and slowly titration up--if they have no reaction.Vets said was 'no way' it was the vitamin, and I still have hard time believing it was...But she DID react to something that was Not a medical concern... and though vets say 'once a seizure, always seizures', our Barrister, and us, seems blessed to have beaten the medical odds..Our Best Blessings to all....
