Simple Solution Large Washable Puppy Pad | Reusable Dog Pee Pad | Absorbent and Odor Controlling | 30x32 Inches, 2 Count, Black & Beige

I purchased these over a year ago for my then 5 month old puppy who just wasn't catching on to potty training. They are the ONLY thing that has worked and exceeded my expectations! You see, I have a corgi whose long body made it hard for her to understand where the edge of the paper pads were and would inevitably go all over my floor. I was having a hard time changing the behavior since technically, she was going exactly where she was supposed to! So, I thought of a way to make it a win-win situation for her and I. I bought these washable pads and began what I call a double layered approach. I have a washable pad by the sliding door that I then lay a paper pad on top of. What's great is that the washables are slightly bigger than the paper pads I buy (2x2 I believe) so that when my corgi goes on the paper, even if she goes right on the edge, the washable pads are there to catch any "runoff." These have kept my kitchen mess-free and me stress-free!! Even though my dog is now over a year old, I still use this approach as my husband and I work long hours and she now understands where it is ok to go inside when she is not able to go outside. (Most of the time she still doesn't go until we arrive home but I like the peace of mind knowing that she doesn't have to feel anxious going inside if she absolutely has to!)A year later, these two pads I bought (I wash every week) are still in top shape, no holes or tears, and still work exactly as they always have. I hope they always continue to make these!!

These are amazing!! My poor dog has terrible spay incontinence, made her miserable. Anywhere she laid or sat, there'd be pee. We had to leave our mop out 24/7, constantly cleaning. These have made such a HUGE improve to our lives! She doesnt like being wet and smelly, with these her fur remains dry, her bed is clean, our floors are clean, and that mop is thankfully not used as often. We trained her to only lay on the pads, which was easy because they are comfortable for her. They are incredibly absorbent, she is 75 lb and has a pretty big bladder but these handle it. There's no urine odor anymore. Her fur stays dry! They're soft and quiet too. The only down is if these are on tile, hardwood, etc, floors then they do slide around a LOT. But overall we are soooo happy! Side note, they work just as well for humans with potty issues too! We are all very happy!

For our tiny chihuahua going outside was not an option for every day housebreaking. I had used these in the past and decided once again to use them. I did order the large to get more bang for the buck but our chihuahua decided that using the same pad was a one a day thing so I needed a fresh one each morning. I had bought one pack that had 2 in it and a few days later ordered another 2 pack. Millie, our tiny chihuahua (2#'s at 6 months of age), immediately went to it and did her business as soon as we got her home. She can smell where she went before and goes back to that area. The pads are super absorbent, at least for Millie, and she doesn't get that urine smell on her feet so that isn't tracked all over the house. We have mostly carpet and keeping the smell confined to the pad was super important. I just pick up pooh as soon as she does it and there is no smell and the urine smell dissipates quickly so I don't have to deal with that either. She had been used to a crate and we have a pen that she stays in when we are gone with the pad at one end and her bed and food at the other. As we felt comfortable that she knew what to do we have condensed the pen to fit just on top of the pads. This holds the pad in place and Millie seems to know that when she is in the pen on the pad she needs to do something. The pen has been her marker and the pad is the bathroom. She loves the pad but likes to pull at its edges so the pen holds it down which is perfect for us since we have the large size pads. I love the fact I can just put it in the washer and then in the dryer. No more running out at the last minute and trying to find pads at a grocery store for twice the price. Really is helping with the cold wet weather we are experiencing at this time. There is no interruption in her training and I never run out of clean pads. I used to use the disposable pads and bought in bulk which I had to have a place to store them and if I break it down per pad over a period of time it is still more expensive than to have bought 4 for less the price of a bulk price of disposables and I won't have to buy again for over a year or more. Just makes more sense for my pocket book. Also, the disposable pads do allow for urine to be tracked all over unless you use the more expensive ones and over time you could have bought dozens of the washables for what you will pay for disposables. For me washables are the way to go and since I have 4 now so I wash 3 about 3 - 4 days. Millie is happy, I am happy and my budget is happy! I received them on time and no problems. I bought them from Amazon because I priced ones like this at PetsMart and would pay almost double for a 2 pack over what I paid through Amazon. Thanks Amazon for helping me with my budget in these trying economic times!!!!

We have had these in our puppy’s play pen for when we are cooking/eating and can’t have eyes on her constantly. These have been lifesavers for our floor. She hated the disposable puppy pads and would just tear them up. These are so easy to clean up if she had an accident and toss in the washer. They have held up great after several washes.We are doing great with potty training now, though we keep them down in the play pen for her when we give her bones that are messy, so we don’t have to worry about pieces on our carpet. Then we just wash them. Very convenient. They are soft and she will actually sleep on the mat sometimes vs in her bed that is in the play pen with her. Great product.

These work, and are by far better than disposable pee pads. But they are not as large as I had hoped and sometimes my dogs get towards the edge and go off the side. I don't have big dogs, but do have weenie dogs, and they want all 4 feet on the pad. They don't really watch where their bottom ends up. Also, it is hard to tell if the dog has peed on them or not. Which on one hand maybe a perk, but I prefer to be able to look and see if it's dirty and replace it. I have to smell these to tell and I'd rather avoid smelling pee when possible. That being said, they do work, have washed well and held up over much usage and washing for well over a year now. They just aren't my favorite and I won't repurchase these. I found others that were larger, and a solid color so I could see at a glance they needed to be replaced.
