The Pocket Dangerous Book for Boys: Things to Know

Great book. Should be mandatory reading for all school age kids, yuppy adults, and crooked politicians.

My nine year old grandson was mesmerized by this series. His curiosity was provoked and satisfied. He was excited to share his finds with his father.

I have three sons between the ages of 11 and 16. I bought a copy of this book for each of them. If you are looking for a way to get the kids away from the computer and video games, this book is a great start. A great collection of Must Have boy knowledge from Morse code to tree forts. There are also great sections on classic literature (I never thought I would be discussing Kipling with my 16 year old, but he brought it up after reading this book!) Great ideas for dad time, but also a great window in the souls of boys (and men) for moms trying to raise boys alone.

My son loves this books and the Ultimate Survival Guide that he bought from Amazon as well. He is 12 and this stuff is fun for him. He and his friend go in the backyard and pretend to survive in the wild and use ideas from this book. Keeps them entertained.

This book came recommended as summertime library reading for our son...decided to buy it for Christmas (dangerous boys need their own books as they also tend to destroy). Content is informative but not in the least boring! Excellent Father-son stuff, too!

This is an amazing book with lots of great "boy" stuff. I love that it is geared towards boys and gives them lots of ideas of projects to make and things to do. I feel it is a MUST have book for a well rounded boy.

My son (nearly 7 but reading age of 9) loves this book. He keeps it in his treasure box and consults it regularly. It is a treasure trove of traditional information - everything from useful chess strategies to national anthems and how to send girls Valentine cards.

Nice book, containing some simple, old fashioned things for boys to do that they wouldn't think of doing by themselves. Nice to get them away from everything that revolves around computerised technology.Full of ideas and great for dads and gran dads to get involved with the kids and do things together.

A very interesting book & one other thing that the other reviews I have read about this item is that actually feels like a proper book should not just a lump of meaningless paper you read to pass the time like a magazine featuring the latest celeb gossip. Delivery was very quick & arrived in almost new condition.

I have purchased several of these dangerous books for boys over the years for my nephews. This one was for a 10 year old and his comments were:' I never knew you could speak to girls normally and you are not suppoed to fart in front of strangers'Sounds like we might have some work to do with this one. All good fun though.
