The amount of yeast for so cheap is an amazing deal!! not to mention all of the recipes I have used with this instant yeast has came out so fluffy, rose fairly quickly, even in my cold kitchen when most brands tend to suffer, this brand thrives. The bubbling happened instantly and the food tasted so yummy. I really recommend this, especially since it’s so affordable for so much!!

Love this yeast. I store it in the freezer and it last very long time and I use a lot of yeast to make homemade breads, rolls, cinnamon rolls. strombolis, Pizza dough. etc. Very economical and its way better than Buying yeast in jars at the Grocery store.

I use a lot of yeast for our farmstand and homestead baking, and this SAF-Instant Yeast has been excellent! Even with instant yeast, I prefer to bloom it first to make sure it’s active before committing all my ingredients. This one bloomed quickly with plenty of visible foam. I keep four or five different yeasts in my freezer, and this one has bloomed quicker than the others in my experience. My dough rose beautifully, as shown in my photos, and everything I baked was absolutely delicious! It has performed reliably in my baking, including cinnamon rolls. The 16-ounce package is a practical size for someone who bakes as frequently as I do. Between the quantity and dependable results, it’s a worthwhile addition to my baking supplies. I definitely recommend it! Appearance and duration: As you can see the appearance's of the yeast before, during and product results….duration on bloom and rise was quick as well. I was not able to allow to rise as long, not sure if yeast or the perfect baking weather. Helpful tip: Although instant yeast doesn’t require blooming, checking it first can give you peace of mind before mixing a big batch. Use liquid from your recipe and follow the package’s temperature guidance. I keep my yeast tightly sealed in the freezer between baking days.

A great quality yeast. Superb rise and baking performance. Last quite while. Solid item for your pantry staples. Great price point.

It's great product and great value for the money. I mean, this would have been very expensive in the store. The taste is awesome and it is just a very versatile product

I didn't think the brand of yeast made a difference. The only reason I ordered this, instead of doing the grocery store yeast, was that the King Arthur website recommended it, and they tend to know what they are talking about. This stuff is great. All this time I thought I did something wrong when my bread wouldn't rise, and it turned out the grocery store yeast isn't consistent. This stuff - great every time and my rise times are a little less.

Last for a few years if you keep in the freezer. Perfect for making breads and pastries. Rise is great and this yeast is easy to use, no need to wait for bubbles in water. Bread always taste great.

I’m on a bread and pizza making kick and this yeast works well adding to flour for the rise. Because it’s instant yeast you can just add it directly to the flour and mix. No need to proof. However, I did proof it once with some sugar and warm water and it sure rose that bread faster and higher than ever! When you first get it you think it’s a brick of yeast because it’s vacuumed sealed. However, once you break the seal it loosens into what you’d expect. Which tells you how important it is to keep it sealed! Seal it well and store in the fridge and you’ll get a good rise every time you use it. The only negative I have is resealing is kind of difficult because it’s like a bag.
