The Elegantly Simple Solution to Pacifier Attrition – A True Game-Changer
As parents, we quickly realized the near-constant struggle of pacifier maintenance: dropped, lost under the crib, or ejected from the bassinet within moments of settling. The Wubbanub Giraffe is, simply put, a brilliantly engineered solution to this common, low-stakes parental crisis. The integration of the hospital-grade pacifier with the generously sized, weighted plush giraffe is its genius. The slight weight of the animal provides just enough counter-leverage to keep the pacifier from rolling too far or being entirely lost to the abyss of the crib mattress. More importantly, it gives the baby a substantial, tactile grip that facilitates early self-soothing. Our little one quickly learned to locate the large, brightly colored giraffe and maneuver the pacifier back into place long before developing the necessary fine motor skills to manage a plain pacifier and clip system. Beyond its functional utility, the giraffe itself is adorable, serves as an excellent visual cue, and has become a cherished "lovey" and transitional object as our child navigates new sleep environments. It holds up impeccably to frequent washing (a non-negotiable feature for infant items) and the integrated design is far safer and less cumbersome than fiddling with external chains or clips. For the value it provides in reducing frustration—both for the baby and the sleep-deprived parent—this product earns my highest recommendation. It is a thoughtful design that addresses a critical need in early infancy.

My favorite baby purchase!!
I bought this when my son was a couple weeks old because he favored soothie pacifiers and I loved the idea of being able to more easily find the pacifier, having something my son could hold onto, and having something that sort of propped up the pacifier while he was too young to keep it in his mouth well enough on his own. This has met all those expectations wonderfully! I've since purchased two more for when my son drops his in gross places and they need to go through the washing machine. In between washes in the washing machine I wash only the pacifier part and it's not too difficult. Once in a while the tip of the giraffe's nose gets wet but that's not a big deal and it dries quickly. I should mention that I've seen other WubbaNubs and knockoff WubbaNubs and so far the giraffe is my son's very favorite. It's longer than the others and narrower and more easily stays on his chest. Now that he's 7 months old that's not important because he can keep the pacifier in his mouth and he can also put it back in his mouth if it falls out. But when he was smaller it was just the perfect size to sit and stay on his chest. He also loved holding the giraffes ears. When he first learned to grab at things he'd grab the giraffes ears happily and by default would hold the pacifier in his mouth better as he was falling asleep. I only add these things because choosing which adorable stuffed animal part was difficult but I had to keep getting the giraffe because of those reasons! One more reason to get this is that once babies can reach for things and put things in their mouth these are even more amazing. My son drops his and can easily find it and put it back in his mouth. He also loves to play with it as a toy! I can imagine him loving this for a long time, long after outgrowing pacifiers. Best purchase. I don't know how I would have made it through the infant months without these!!!

Doubted it, but it's genius
LOVE this Wubbanub! Got one as a baby gift and frankly thought it was kind of dumb. I mean, if you want a pacifier and a little stuffed animal, why do they need to be stuck together?!? And then when our son still wasn't really hooked on any particular pacifier after the first couple weeks, and after one long evening of paci-spitting and fussing, I figured we might as well try the Wubbanub. Our son loved it pretty much instantly! And the genius design of that stuffed animal meant the paci couldn't drop out of his mouth and get stuck under his neck/head. It rested perfectly on his chest while he was tiny and stayed close and easy to grab when he was a little bigger. And while I fully expected him to abandon it by the time he was crawling, he loves that thing still! It's lightweight enough that he never minded it dangling from his mouth as he became mobile. He's over 20 months now (entering the territory of restricting it to the crib, car, and emotional moments), but it's easy for us to grab and hang onto with a toddler on the go. With him on my hip and the paci in his mouth, the giraffe is long enough that I can hook a leg or tail between my fingers in case he jettisons the thing. I'm actually ordering a new one because he finally chewed a hole in his and I don't have the heart to take it away. Can't believe I'm buying a Wubbanub for my toddler, but a lovey is a lovey for a reason, and he sure does love this giraffe.

Best baby gift ever.
The best baby gift ever. It’s a lifesaver for the parents due to the baby can lose the pacifier from their mouth and the animal makes it land on their chest or side where they can get the WubbaNub back in their mouth using their neck muscles. Teaches them how to self sooth. Always purchase 2 so the parents have an extra.

BEST IDEA EVER
Firstly, This Pacifier has a round end on it. So if your baby is not used to this type of pacifier, they might Not like this one. It is Permanently attached to the stuffed animal, it does not detach for cleaning! The stuffed animal is lightweight, stuffed with cotton. I like the Wubbanub because it is Easy to Find, no more going crazy trying to find the small pacifier! Even very young infants can grasp at the animal pacifier, it is amazing to watch them, holding onto the Wubbanub, thusly holding onto the pacifier! Somehow it keeps the pacifier in babys mouth, especially while baby is lying down. At night it is invaluable for a parents good nights sleep; if your baby loves the pacifier! I've found the perfect way to keep the pacifier clean, just buy the pacifier wipes and use them to keep it clean and sanitized. This Giraffe is Loved so much that one stays home and one is even kept in the diaper bag, heaven forbid we loose one! I really like the Giraffe because it is so easy for little hands to hold onto so many of the little legs. This Wubbanub should be looked over occasionally, just to make sure there are no holes or stuffing coming out, this is Not a Teething Toy!, remember it is, just a pacifier with an attached stuffed animal! .

10 stars - very best baby gear purchase we made
No really. If there is one thing that was worth every penny and probably a lot more, it's the WubbaNub. At first it seems crazy to pay $12-15 for a single pacifier but we have 4 of these and nothing has gotten more use for the dollar. The carrier, the swing, the jumper, soothing seahorse, white noise machine, the bouncer - none of these have given our daughter (and us) as much comfort and they all cost a lot more. It seems like such a simple concept but it really is revolutionary. Our daughter was not a thumbsucker or a pacifier fan for the first 4 months of her life until out of desperation for better sleep and for her to self-soothe I tried this (giraffe was our first) based on the good reviews. We regret we didn't get it sooner! It seems like such a simple concept but it really is revolutionary. It's a soother and a lovie wrapped into one easy to transport package. When she was a lot younger, it stayed in her mouth so much better than a normal paci. And no more running into the nursery at all hours to help retrieve a lost paci. She can find it and replace it herself. Her Wub has gotten her through scary shots, repeated ear infections, ear tube surgery, nebulizer treatments, doctor visits, and the transition to daycare. It was the only thing that gave her any comfort during one particularly horrible diaper rash. She is 13 months old now and loves her Wubs as much as ever but now they are for naps and bedtime only. She naps 2-4 hours a day and sleeps 12 hours a night with no intervention from us. She is still nursing so it never interfered with that. Washing the WubbaNub is really easy. We throw it in a lingerie bag and wash with the rest of her clothes. It air dries very quickly. In between washes, of course you can just wash the paci portion with soap and water. I would not let concerns about cleaning deter anyone. This has become our go-to shower gift. Not every baby is a paci baby, and ours wasn't until she had her Wub. I'd give this 10 stars if I could.

More than just a pacifier
I thought these wubbanubs were absolutely adorable the first time I saw them. I bought this one for my daughter before she was born. She ended up never really using pacifiers, but she did snuggle the giraffe on this and it went everywhere with us. It brought her comfort.

Worth the cost
You might be thinking almost $14 dollars for a binky is a little outlandish, but it’s nothing compared to the benefits of a full nights sleep. This was my sons favorite as an infant so it was a no brainer to get one for our daughter. The wubbanub is very durable and holds up well. The animal is soft and easy to grasp which helps develop motor skills. If my daughter spits it out it’s incredibly easy for me to find in the middle of the night and in the car etc. my daughter can easily hold this and guide it back into her mouth. She also loves to cuddle with it. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because it’s kind of a pain to clean. I always recommend this item to new parents as it’s been a life saver for our kids over the years.

Love Wubbanubs
My baby has 3 Wubbanubs and the giraffe is by far the favourite. At first I was disappointed by the lack of stuffing in the neck and I felt the quality was not as good as the others, but I see now that the shape and floppiness make it the easiest for my little one to keep it in his mouth. Even at 3 weeks he could sort of hold it in the crook of his arm!

0-6 or 0-3m?
The package and item description say it’s suitable for 0-6m babies, but the pacifier that comes with it (Philips Avent) says 0-3m. This is confusing. Also, the pacifier is sewed to the stuffed animal, I thought it wasn’t so you could easily wash or replace the pacifier…

Life saver!
This was a life saver! Got this for my daughter when she was 3 months because was tired of hunting for her soother every time it popped out of her mouth. She was able to hold on to the plush easily thus keeping the soother in place. I didn't mind that the soother was attached to the plush because it was easy to clean (just throw in the washer) and I bought 2 more and just rotated them while one was in the wash.
