Skullcandy Titan (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These are trash. I bought a pair in July of 2020 and by December they had completely crapped out on me. The sound in left side earpiece all of the sudden the just dropped and its a noticeable difference between the right side. I’ve probably bought 5 or 6 (absentmindedly) pairs since 2017 and they’ve all eventually crapped out on me. I’m not rough and tough with me earbuds and I take great care of them and no matter what I do the outcome is still the same.I’m a big fan of skull candy and their products because they last me, these don’t and to be honest I’m unsure if these are actually true “skull candy”.I accidentally fell in love with SC Titans (the 50/50s are good as well) and was heartbroken when I found out they were discontinued then I found some off Amazon, and the first pair I bought off Amazon lasted me years but they got stuck in a car door and the 3mm came off (didn’t realize it until it was too late) so I bought more from the same place I got my first pair thinking they’ll be the same and they were until they stopped working so i got another pair thinking maybe it’s a fluke (for context I have a pair of skull candy 50/50s that I’ve had for years, the wiring has been messed up for atleast 3 (so I only use them when I’m waiting on a new pair to get here) and this problem JUST NOW (January) happened). Everytime I bought another pair I went to my past orders and ordered from the same people to try and ensure that’d they virtually be the same.You may wonder why I kept buying more and more well for one I didn’t realize how many I got in a short period of time, I didn’t realize how much I had actually bought because I wasn’t paying attention. Yes, I went back thru my previous order however, after I think the 2 pair they just started popping up in my buy again category and again I wasn’t really tracking the dates (I should’ve, yes I know), I order frequently enough from Amazon so half the stuff lost of stuff gets buried in my orders.For two I haven’t found ANYTHING comparable to the sound and music quality of skull candy Titans except for the 50/50s both of which are discontinued.For three I wanted these to work I can’t find these (or the 50/50s anywhere else and if I can’t get them here then I have to accept they’re gone forever along with the supreme sound qualities .These ARE NOT worth the money, if I could get a refund I would but I unfortunately I can’t. Save yourself the heartbreak and the money because these are complete crap.

I really am particular about headphones in my ears.The head phones are reasonably comfortable. When I hook them into my Sansa Clip the sound is great. They play with nice bass treble, and mid range. The sound is clear. Well worth the money.I like mostly Rock, blues and talk radio so the sound is great. I would imagine and caution parents that they could be loud and for children not to go to loud, (am I becoming an old fart?) I also like them because they do cancel background noise out well. When I am just overwhelmed with things in life and the children are driving me nuts; these offer a little escape. " What kids .....what .....what????? sorry can't hear you." Finally the parent can avenge the grumpy teen and fighting youngsters. The kids may fight but you also might not hear them. Perhaps they will stop fighting if I wear the headphones more because I can not hear them? OK perhaps that was a little too much like a wish.Let me dream a little.The cord is a fairly long length and the headphones are light. The Skullcandy headphones come with a very nice warranty by the way and I encourage one to check out the web site for more info. My only thing that I do not like is that when i plug them into my computer a hear a slight subtle feedback hum until a push and the button located on the cord. I think that this cord is for cell phone usage. I would recommend and repeat my purchase.

This is the fourth pair of Skullcandy Titan headphones I have purchased. No, not because the product is terrible and doesn't last long, its because once using them, I have had friends request that I find them a pair. These earbuds outperform similar ones that cost twice or even three times as much. I have done a side-by-side comparison between these headphones and the SOL AMPS HD (retail 100$ last time I checked) and I could not tell the difference.With 3 separate ear bud sizes, they are always comfortable in your ears. They have excellent noise isolation due to their design, and produce amazing sound quality. They are very sturdy, I have washed them in my pants pocket multiple times. They have lived in my backpack, floor of my room, and other dirty places and still appear practically brand new. The buttons work great still, in fact the only issue that would separate them from a brand new set is a little paint chipping around the edges that come in contact with things the most.I use them for listening to music everywhere I go, jogging, mowing the lawn, at school, and whatever it may be, these Skullcandy headphones are a pleasure to use.

I like skullcandy headphones. I look at this brand first whenever buying headphones. Good sound for the money. I have gotten a number of different models over the years. They would be 5 stars but many seem to have a tendency for one of the ear buds to stop working after 6 or 7 months. That being said, skullcandy has a great warranty and will give you credit on their site for the full value of the headphones if they break on their own, and 50% of the value if you break them due to your own carelessness or abuse. Warranty is pretty low hassle to redeem as well

These were good enough that when I lost the first pair, I bought the exact same set to replace them (and at a cheaper price on Amazon.) The sound quality is noticeably better than other ear buds in this price range. They have crisp highs and excellent bass, especially if you push them tight into your ear. When you do, they really block outside noise, so they wouldn't be good for a situation where you need to hear things around you. The sound is very natural and doesn't come off too exaggerated in the bass or treble. They're comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time, and the metal housing feels rugged, although the cord seems fragile. I haven't tried the microphone feature yet. Good bang for the buck, and as a musician this is good enough sound quality that I don't need to spend more.

Really good, works as they should, and feel very robust with the metal casing (I will not say anything more about sound quality other than that I am very happy with it, as I generally don't know much about it). If I had to say one thing that annoyed me, I guess I would point out that the metal can get a bit cold when walking outside in the winter and that the actual button on the microphone bit is a bit large (I prefer smaller and more distinct buttons), but I really am very happy with this product.

Bought these to replace an old Skullcandy set with similar function. The mic and button have been moved over to the left ear and it is now closer to the mouth, which makes much more sense. However, the button itself does not seem to make as much of a click, so it is difficult to tell immediately whether you've pressed once or twice. The sound quality is superb as always. It's a bit disappointing that the cable is not flat like my old pair, as these are more likely to tangle. But for the cheaper price, it's a fantastic set of earphones for everyday use. Fits snug in my abnormally tiny ears, and effectively drowns out the noise of the daily city walk. Can't ask for much more!

These brain hole sound pumps are totally wicked sweet awesome dude.They have amazing bass and excellent upper range too which is cool.The mic works with android phones, radical.Would not recommend as fabric softener, as that is not something they were designed for. Would recommend as brain hole sound pumps though.

I bought the similar older version of these a couple of years ago and they lasted for well over a year (possibly 2). They were decent quality for the price and noise cancelling enough to be able to enjoy my music. When they broke, I decided to buy these because I liked my last pair, however, 4 months later they only work through one ear. I bought them in the sale for £10 so for that price it wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't recommend buying them at full price - you can get similar quality headphones for a lower price. While they do work, they fit in my ears nicely and come with two different bud sizes and a case.

Quick delivery and great sound. Sound is great on these but I'm a bit confused as all other in ear headphones with mic I've had has always had mike on right hand side these are on left. But besides this they are comfortable work and sound great with my iphone, pc and TV. Will consider ordering a spare pair
