Easy to use. Worth it.
Works super good and comes with extra quick release links. I've never done this before and was able to operate with no problem.

Great tool
Worked perfect splitting my 2 bikie chains to use connex master links. Didn’t realize it came with a handy wire chain holder - nice. Not sure of the quality of the 3 included master links, but they’re going in the saddle tool bag as cheap insurance to get me home some day if ever needed.

Works ok
Hasn’t broken yet which is great. I’ve broken multiple other types. This one did 6 bike chains in one day without breaking the tool itself so that’s a win. Its small size makes it harder to use but it’s also less bulk. So if it works for you for it to be small this is a good unit

Well, a story that doesn’t end well.
This was actually an okay product for the money, but it wasn’t quite good enough for me, in the end.Unlike a straight forward design, this one has bolt that screws in on the opposite side of the Driving Pin screw. So, you have to adjust both, to firmly brace your chain on the outer slot. The result is that it pushes the pin right the edge of the other side of the link. This is interesting because, it will prevent you from pushing the pin all the way out. However, if you want to push the pin all the way through, to remove the pin completely. You then have to back off the bolt. This is okay, as well. However, at some point, due to movement of chain, the alignment was off. I then went too far back which resulted in shoving the chain link into the screw port, thus making it jam into port and got wedged inside. I tried my best to remove it, methodically, but the damage was done to the threads, which meant the screw could no longer travel through to butt against the next chain link. I tried a number of things to fix the threading, of course, nothing worked, and eventually, trying different things, screw got stuck, which means I used a tool to back it out. It just ended in disaster. I managed to finish up, but I can no longer use it.In other words, the tool is an okay design, but not great. I can’t return it because I tore it up trying to get some function out of it for the other chains. C'est la vie. Live and learn. It wasn't a an expensive mistake. After trying, Park Tool CT-5 Compact Bike Chain Tool, which is more money, I decided to buy that instead. With that said, if you can comprehend what I saying about the design of the tool, you can avoid the potential problem that happened to me. Which makes the tool fine for the job. But, honestly, I think in the effort to simplify the process of chain breaking, it may have gotten in the way for me. Which is why I went with something a little less fussy for an emergency on the road.
