I love this pack
I bought one of these 10 years ago and one seam on the belt is finally starting to come loose so I bought another one. I love this pack!! Perfectly fits an ipad for field data entry with room for a paper data collection book, hand lens, multi tool, compass, pencils, markers, mini first aid kit, etc. I love that these items are easy to reach and I don't have to keep taking off my backpack to enter data or look up a field guide. The pockets are genius, especially the hidden pocket in the top flap. Also great in the rain- it's waterproof but also fits neatly under my raincoat if needed. I also feel like I look super cool when I'm wearing it. I know my colleagues are jealous. ;)

Pajaro Waist Pack
This small pack is really amazing. I am a biologist so I use this pack around my waist to carry my plant book. Very comfortable to wear and very well made. Extremely happy with purchase. Would recommend.

Best field pack/ fanny bag you’ll ever need!
Absolutely LOVE this field pack! I have had it for several years now and it has held up extremely well. It’s very comfortable and very roomy. The pockets are easy to access and valuables are easy to secure.

Great fanny pack that lasts for years and years....
I bought one of these at the giftshop of a national wildlife refuge back around 1999, used it LOTS and didn't have to order another until early 2014. The new one looks every bit as tough as the old one, maybe more so. As I understand it, this is a small, family-run company that still makes things in America.The zippered front pocket is great for my wallet and back zippered pocket great for other little critically important things that you don't want to get lost like KEYS and small phone. In the main pouch, guide book, waterbottle, ipod, etc. It is great for little hikes when a backpack is too much, or for city outings when you want your hands and shoulders free.Buy with confidence.
